@TirianCreed this is the album version of the song, which appears on the Memory of Trees album. It does not, to my knowledge, appear anywhere else. All her compilation cds, such as Paint the Sky with Stars and Box of Dreams seem to feature a different edit which is remastered, edited and doesn't feature the nice bridge section.

I always assumed that "on my way home" was a metaphor for when we pass spiritually to the next dimension, so it seems like a natural choice for a funeral. Because when we leave our physical bodies, small-mindedness and negative will be the last things on our minds.
