I am in seventh grade band and I'm first chair trombone, and the talent show is in a few days and I'm playing this song in it. I'm going soli and a hundred pages ahead in the band book than we are in class with some impossible high notes, yet somehow I made tryouts. I am a really shy person and I think I might have made a big mistake, I'm performing in front of over 2000 people... Wish me luck!!!

Ive noticed this entire ballet is very heavy on themes, and developing themes. The March is developed especially nicely every time the fanfare is repeated, the strings are doing something different underneath.

I really also like the tags at the end of the phrases when the flutes shoot up really high. It makes the whole piece sound brighter.

Aww, I danced to this song in my very first Nutcracker! I was 9 years old the first year I got to do it, and I was so excited, lol. I was a toy soldier in this scene- we were supposed to be toys that Drosselmeyer brought to the party. :)

the new pet shop boys single will use this music and it will be awesome, just look at the brit award with pet shop boys to see an amazing performance. One of my brother danced in the nutcracker (in the principal role) and it's an amazing show.
