You spend weeks in the freezing cold rain without a shower or hot food to prepare to go to the middle east. You are in a constant state of being miserable. So you turn to your buddies and your booze to turn your frowns upside down.
I would have to say mostly enlistees. Officers don't live in a dorm like environment, they live on their own. So officers don't get the chance to be living among hundreds of other people that just want to party like us enlisted do. Officers are also not allowed to hang out with enlisted either, kinda their shi#t don't stink type of thing. Also once you make Ssgt(E-5)you can't hang out with Jr enlisted E1-E4 anymore. De-friend most of your friends, but this rule is bent by a few people so its OK.
Im going in november cuz i know if i go to bmt in spring or summer its goin to be like a 100 degrees down in lackland with like a humidity of 60 percent
Hate to break it to ya but this is pretty much Air Force wide. One of my biggest pet peeves is when newbie assholes think that their base is the best because they drink "a lot". This video speaks for every Airman everywhere! You guys rock.
Very true, but at this base there is also no legal drinking age limit because it is in Germany. Plus it was the new dorm type that they are going to start building everywhere but haven't yet, four people share a kitchen and common area. Combine all that with being in an ACS Sq and you had the perfect environment to get destroyed in sometimes 6 nights a week. Or for me just Fridays and Saturdays.
Gotta love the Air Force. I trained in Monterey, California for two years and this video looks very similiar to how I spent a lot of my time lol. If you wanna watch another video like this one, search 841 smoke pit. It's pretty funny. Gotta love the Air Force!
Long story short, we stole it from some guys claiming to be from New Zealand although they had this Australian flag during a huge music festival that takes place in Germany every year called Rock Am Ring. So as randomly as the flag made it into our hands, it also made it into this video.
@maxheat989 in the military when you are sent overseas you can drink at 18. Also, dependents of the military can legally drink offbase at 16 in most European countries
