I'll always cherish Mad Dog's call here! He and I frequently e-mailed back and forth over the last few seasons about our frustrations! The address to send a sympathy card is C?O Lotspeich CO. 16101 NW 54th Avenue, Hialeah, FL 33014.
When the Patriots and Bill BeliCHEAT lost to the Giants, I said, "Don't mess withy perfection!" Belichick was classless the way he left the field before the game ended. Shula NEVER would have done that! As for Miami's easy schedule in '72, they still did it with a 38-year-old backup QB and had to win the AFC Championship ON THE ROAD!
Bring back Bill Zimfer (spelling ?) and let him do the games with the Mad Dog. The three man booth with Jimmy Cefelo doing the play by play is a terrible idea.
@miamiwestchester Yeah I know, I logged onto the Herald and read the sad news. I used to listen to his radio show but I haven't listened to the radio since his departure. He will be missed.
when matt stover came on to try the field goal I figured the game was over so I switched it to the chargers game but i kept this on my sirius when he missed it they went nuts so i put it back on the dolphins game when camarillo caught I was so happy I new they were going to win and they went nuts .
Greg Camarillo is God! Bring him back next year, Tony Soprano. Announcers, let's give them credit, were Joe Rose (a slim guy with long hair back when he was a receiver during the David Woodley era), Jim Mandich (on the '72-73 teams as a tight end) and Jimmy Cefalo (another Woodley era receiver). Great call that wasn't shown on TV due to 3 stupid commercials airing when this play took place (shades of the "Heidi" game?). Thanks, guys!
RIP Mad Dog
