  • Animal sacrifice is a basic constituent of many religions, including Judaism and Vodun. However, animal sacrifice is not really important in Thelema. Many of these Crowley cults are following the legend of Aleister Crowley that was promulgated by the British tabloid press. If you wish to understand the inner meaning of the Book of the Law, read my book, The Secret Wisdom of 666. (Love the animation!)

  • Crowley was dark ? Understatement of history its self. I guess you missed the bit about him wanting to be the devils right hand man ?

  • ''Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law'' This bloke is talking shite. He obviously hasn't read The Book Of The Law and doesn't understand it. If perverts want to go molesting kids they cannot blame a single individual for their actions. People calling themselves christians have caused more death and suffering on this planet that any other group. Even now people are fighting wars in the name of christianity, priests are abusing kids in catholic churches. Stop blaming Crowley!!!

  • thanks for exposing Crowley and the OTO

too many seekers searching for esoteric knowledge get misled by his teachings when they could benefit from the far superior teachings of the Vedas

just compare the fruits of Crowley to Prabhupada....

  • Crowly is no doudt a insane man, and the only reason that you young oulct types love him is that you this what to rebell against you parents.

by the way Esoteric do you agree that we should question god like all athorty or we this do what everything what god told us to do, included killing our childern like some people had claim

  • @abarrathemaster I agree with you, I noticed a lot of the younger "rebel" types are fans of Crowley.. I never was big into Crowley, and recently as I've taken up Vaishnavism I see that he's actually ass-backwards about a lot lot lot of things... Namely unrestricted sense gratification and complete lack of venerating Godhead/Bhagavan.

I think that if you want to know God you can't look to the west but have to look to the East to know Him, their timeless view of God makes much much more sense.

  • @abarrathemaster In the Bible God tells Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, just to teach him a lesson, which is also parallel to the stories in the Bhagavad Gita where God tells Arjuna to kill his brothers and teachers and friends in battle because they are arrayed against him on the side of unrighteousness. The Bhagavad Gita goes more into the philosophy behind this though it shows that we are not this bodily designation, and the soul cannot be killed, and we must do our duty and fight for righteousns

  • Interesting take. I have done a couple of vids on this recently myself. Genertated a lot of heat, so await the possible coming storm. My vids are from a Christian point of view so it's interesting to hear this from an esoteric perspective.

  • Isn't that pronounced: Al-es-tair Cr-ow-lee

  • Ahhh the Left Hand path, people should realize that it really is just miring oneself with matter, Left Hand should be used for Aspiration to eventually go back to the inspiration of the Right Hand.

  • @ShinobiShaw

I have been to the lower dregs of the Astral Light, they are Black and white in Nature, literally reality is highly heightened there, but these planes are beneath the Solar Plane so they are away from and opposite of the Deity.

  • Hey Bro, cool video. Say, can you tell me why Prabhupada said that the doctrine stating that 'Jesus Christ has paid for our sins' is a very bad doctrine, and if you agree, thanks, God Bless You

  • @icoson Yes I believe it's a bad doctrine if it makes you think that someone has scapegoated your sins and all you need to do is to believe in that person and have faith and you will go to Heaven. This is an invention of St. Paul, putting faith before works of the law, and has nothing to do with Christ's teachings. Jesus wanted us to follow ALL of his teachings, and this implies a type of mysticism in devotion and "Tantric Bhakti".. to attain real vision of Personal God and real faith in Him.

  • Hi. Thanks for making this. I too, many years ago, struggled with a similar ambiguous feeling toward the thinking of Crowley, and found myself in many unpleasant disagreements with Crowley 'fans' over the same issues that you touch on here. It is reassuring to see that you come to the same overall conclusions as I did, especially because you are young and male, as Crowley was when he started to formulate his philosophy..
