  • I Really Like The Video From Your The true costs in health and environmental pollution of hydraulic fracturing are exposed in this amazing documentary by Josh Fox. Everyone needs to know this information.

  • I can't wait till I too will be able to light my water on fire around here! It will be an awesome party trick! We'll all get a kick out of that! I can't wait till my water makes me sick and I will have an easy excuse to miss work! "Hell, today I feel like getting drunk. I don't feel like going to work. I'll just call my boss and tell him I drank too much water last night and i'm sick, He'll understand." Yup, this could turn out to be a good thing for the United Corporations of America.

  • I can't wait for something to come along and wipe our species out, our redundancy is unlivable.

  • Just confirms that the EPA is USELESS!!!!

    Ron Paul 2012

  • @Redsiix The EPA is bought out by oil and natural gas companies. They are useless. The government tax us and end up wasting so much of our money, they tell us what we can can and cannot consume - what we can can and cannot grow - and so many other things. I'm fucking tired of this system that only caters to a few! This year is the end of there road!!! I agree, RON PAUL 2012 *OR REVOLUTION!

  • wake the fuck up people!

  • The Man will Ruin the world with its Ambition for the Money...Welcome to the Land of the Free...(For the Government n Billionaires)

  • @KAZERiOtv I no longer feel freedom!

  • This is scary! The gov't is trying to kill us!

  • e e esta merda k vem para portugal!?vamos continuar a comprar!

  • Well your no hero mr.Fracalicious.

  • I am a frac worker and I put food on my table with my job. This video is a manipulated version of isolated situations. We all drive cars, heat our homes n complain about the economy. Until all that changes natural gas is the future! Fracalicious!!

  • @dnunn87 god i hope you havn't bred because you kiddies are going to have real problems in the future; Oh I know! you'll just move state and work for another blood sucking miner you basic moron!

  • @dnunn87 SO YOU MEAN ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE THEIR WATER CONTAMINATED & HAVE GOT THEIR HOMES SUROUNDED BY CLOUDS OF GAS IS LYING?! WHERE DOES? HUMAN LIFE GET IT´S RECOGNITION IN THE CAPITALIST HELL OF USA WHICH IS BTW SELLING THE INSANE TECHNOLOGY OF FRACKING TO ASIA AND EUROPE?! AUSTRALIA IS ALREADY FRACKING GAS FROM THE COAL RESERVS AND IT'`S THE SAME STORY THERE. WATER CATCHING FIRE, PEOPLE GETTING SICK & ANIMALS DYING!! BTW, HOW MUCH ARE YOU MAKING FROM OTHERS MISERY?!you poison your kids!

  • @dnunn87 they say it`s 99% water & sand, but how much chemicals is 1% out of 25 to 75 million gallons of water they pump down in earth?! you do the math! btw only half of that water comes back up which they spray in the air (in some cases depending on the company doing the PROSPECTING!). I SUGGEST YOU WATCH THE ENTIRE GASLAND BECAUSE IF HYD. FRACKING GETS SPREAD TO OTHER COUNTRIES IN WORLD THEN THE HOLE PLANET IS GOING DOWN WITHOUT ANY CLEAN WATER. LIFE ON LAND & IN OCEANS IS GOING TO DYE!

  • . So, here is the Original Quatrain: Garden of the world near the new city, In the path of the hollow mountains: It will be seized and plunged into the Tub, Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulfur. Century 10, Quatrain 49. The Book of Nostradamus.

Now here is my Unscrambled Version: Near the garden in the New City of the world The Path in the hollow mountains Will be seized and plunged into the Tub Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulfur

  • On 311 the World woke up and decided NO NUKES and NO FLUKES. We ask for the END OF THE NUCLEAR NIGHTMARE ON EARTH. We DEMAND THE END OF TOXIC POWER SYSTEMS ON EARTH. Let us BAN HYDRO FRACKING IN AMERICA as this POISONS MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER Let us DEMAND THE END OF THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL CORPORATE COMPLEX NOW. Let us DEMAND THE END OF ENDLESS WARS ON HUMANKIND

  • Let's REDUCE overpopulation, by starting right here in America, by NOT HAVING KIDS. Next: GO VEGAN! Those are the TWO most important practical things anyone can do for the world. Third: LEGALIZE MARIJUANA. Hypocritical conservatards preach choice. So, why aren't they out demanding freedom of choice to consume and produce hemp?

The rest of the world will follow America's example.

While doing all that, outlaw nuclear and coal and gas-cars.

Go solar and wind for all electricity.

  • hey fuckhead kennyasshole: pro-animal rights vegans and zero-population-growth people have been DOING things that help others. They go vegan, which prevents needs murder of animals and reduces global warming and oil consumption. They don't reproduce, which helps slow overpopulation. So, why aren't you fucking anti-American lazy conservatards PRAISING vegans and anti-overpopulation activists for their hard work and sacrifice to help save YOUR ASS?

  • One word why nuclear, coal, and fracking for natural gas will NEVER be worth the effort (even if there would never be any dramatic singular accidents in the future): ENTROPY. Creating greater localized order, like in a nuclear reactor, MUST create greater disorder outside that reactor. That disorder can include cancer in our bodies. The greater the localized order (the greater the imbalance of power, both physically and metaphorically), the greater the disorder.

  • National Review has a good article on this subject: "The Fracas about Fracking Low risk, high reward--but the EPA is against it, by Kathleen Hartnett White

  • @oilhammer04 I read the report - It's obviously an industry supporter telling us they only drill with lots of love and use only sugar water...

  • @Watnawootie The methane/ flammable water, although dramatic, isn't the biggest problem - it's the chemicals in the fracturing fluids. If you read the notes for this video, you'll find links to the US Senate report (released in April 2011) of the chemical contents of these frac'ing fluids which resurface (between 30% to 70%) bringing back these toxic substances. In addition, frac'ing chemicals have to go SOMEWHERE - even when recovered - many end up in oceans and aquifers.

  • @kbsatlive You are of course correct in all things. You see the truth of the matter. What the real question we have to ask ourselves is "why are we not all dead yet"? This is what mystifies me.

  • Dont you get it yet, they want you to die! Man made disasters are what's killing us. Those in power have taken it upon themselves to believe that the world would be a better place with fewer people. We must die in order for them to bring about a "new" world order. Nice.

  • "GASGREED" is a more fitting title.

  • Thanks so much for helping get this information out about the utter decimation of our natural environment. People are so blind and detached from nature now that they can't even understand something so obvious and basic:

Only when the last tree has died

and the last river been poisoned

and the last fish been caught

will we realise we cannot eat money

    ~ Cree Indian Proverb

  • @FurubaGirl08 yea you can spin anything you want...what i am saying is Effectivly, Take A Shower Hippie or HATE if you abbreviate it and reverse it...get a life.....IF YOU PEOPLE WHO "CARE" would go get an EDUCATION you could be helping lead the charge instead you sit around and bitch but don't help....

  • @organiccarrots1 & @Rawritzjesse ... you guys are so smart why don't you help invent wind and solar power that will produce enough power to keep the world running...the problem with you "sustainably energy" is that they are not efficient...make them efficient and they become real options

  • It's kind of unsettling that some of this footage reminds me of some scenes from post-apocalyptic movies... :/

  • Halliburton has the worst record in the industry too. And if people knew how much goes in to disposal wells they would really flip.About 95% of what they pump down the hole to frac comes back up in the first 1-2 weeks. Then is hauled to a disposal well. And 99% of them inject it into the salt water table and it ends up in the ocean eventually. I know, I use to drive a truck in east texas.

  • The Oil and Gas industry is a mafia! Its funny how Energy in Depth, abbreviate d in reverse is DIE....They don't care about the planet or the people who suffer, it's all greed...fucking bastards!

  • Watch out Ohio. We're next.

  • Until the worthless masses wake up, nothing will ever change for the better.

They are probably selling most of this gas to other countries tool.

  • This is awesome. Thanks for sharing<3 I recently organized an assembly on fracking here in Philadelphia in my highschool and showed clips of Gasland. Everyone should know about this. Every school schould have an assembly on this and have everyone write letters to Pres. Obama&all of the gov. officials, like I did in my school. That's an easy 250 letters or more!

  • @JohnSnevets Coal will never be clean! EVER! Neither will natural gas, or petroleum or even most biofuels for that matter. If we are going to reverse the damage we've done to our planet we not only have to switch to completely sustainably energy (solar, wind, geothermal) but we also have to drastically look at our collective societal values and why we allow our wasteful economy to ravage finite resources at unprecedented rates.

  • @organiccarrots1 You are absolutely right. It's not the supply, it's our demand. Corporations are criminals in the first place. There pursuit for profits lead to growing landfills, growing health issues, wars and the privatisation of our natural ressources. You know where the word "privatisation" is from? It's latin. Privare = Depredate. And that's what it is. Steal it and then sell it back to the ones you've stolen it from. Why dont you attack those drilling sites?

  • @organiccarrots1

The only sustainable solution to the problem/solution you state is MASS-SCALE DEPOPULATION, death to all human parasites around the globe, including you.

  • @organiccarrots1 In order to do all of that we must first declare that money is no longer relevant and give it up for the delusional bad job that it is! We should only manufacture products that are planet healthy, and we should strike every bad element from mass production, so that they don't get included into the oceanic flora. Plastics should only be used in recycled form. Remember, money is the root of all evil!

  • Direct present from W and Cheney removing fracking from the safe water act, just one more to the list of the most corrupt administration in US history. This one though, is in the process of destroying most of the country's natural water resources which will eventually make the affected states uninhabitable, no man's lands.

  • Let's keep our electric plants as coal burning, and work towards cleaner coal technology. I'm now hearing that NG is only 25% cleaner than coal, instead of the original, highly touted, 50%. This is apparently due to the chemicals used to extract NG from the earth. We should evolve our current technologies to burn cleaner, instead of rushing to replace coal with NG. Let's instead target NG as a replacement for transportation fuel, & seek a better balance with the "drill baby drill" folks.

  • Fear mongering. LoL. What do you want? Foreign Oil from Saudia Arabia? Venezuela? How about inefficient solar or wind during the harsh winter months when even natural gas and coal struggle to keep up with demands? How about some wind turbines to chop up birds with? Or a solar plant placed over a nature preserve in Arizona? Or a Dammed river to ruin a lacustrine ecosystem? You'll never be satisfied you hypocrites. Most of y'all don't have the spine for Nuclear anyways. Shut your trap.

  • @TreesOfBaylor are you really as stupid as your statements- no solar during harsh winter months? one summer of heat will supply power all year moron! I have wind and solar- i sell about 500-600 dollars worth of excess power to my local power company a month and i have not paid a dime for energy in 12 years- go back to your cave and vote for big oil

  • @salvadory What about everyone else in the country? I'm sure they can afford solar panels too. Oh wait they can't. Your "fuck you got mine" attitude wont win over many votes for solar. Have fun powering... your house.

  • @TreesOfBaylor Wow the ignorance of some people amazes me. The gas industry started drilling in my area 2 years ago and hundreds of homes been condemned due to water contamination leaving hundreds of families homeless and the shail that our area sits on it now cracked everywhere from the fracking in the well sites. there are masses of methane bubbles gushing from the bottom of the Susquehanna river right across the street from me through the newly broken shail. let's hope nobody lights a match.

  • @TreesOfBaylor Last time i checked cutting down a couple trees to make room for a solar panel or windmill didn't leave hundreds of people homeless or destroy and entire areas bedrock AND water supply. last time i checked windmills and solar panels don't melt down leaving thousands of people with radiation sickness and kids with 13 toes, it's wierd we don't have the spine for that? if more people started to catch on it wouldn't be so expensive to pay for out power from a windmill or a solar panel

  • @Rawritzjesse Mmm. So tell me, what's the out put of KWH for solar and wind? What about at night? What about in a high pressure system at night? I see....

  • @Rawritzjesse Whats funny is I'm actually on 100% wind plan with my provider right now. But the minimum usage fee is 45% of my monthly bill because I'm so self conscious about electricity. Not a great business plan if a lot of Green people sign on for Green energy by conserve so much they don't use it.

  • @Rawritzjesse

The answers to our problems are glaringly obvious.

But our corporate rulers only interest is in low cost, high markup "consumable" products, irregardless of its lethal destruction.

They are destroying humanity one inch at a time, all in the name of greed, and making a killing off the mass destruction of life on earth.

Big Oil's best-bought friend, Barak Obama, suppressed the data which clearly illustrates the lethal dangers of Fracking to groundwater, that's environmental treason!!

  • @Rawritzjesse

Hit the nail on the head bro...

  • @Rawritzjesse

Last time I check Solar Panels and wind Mills weren't able to power my F150 or my R1. Last time I checked thse technologies werent worth shit.

  • How do companies manage to pay off politicians and make pollution legal? We need renewable energy now!

  • It's this group of incredibly wealthy men, whome feel it is thier right to control EVERY aspect of our petty lives for they control the money and power. This is one piece, of an incredibly larger puzzle thats so complex, only our children will learn the truth. I honestly hope there is a heaven and hell. At least then cheney and all of his cronies can burn in a pit for the suffering they have caused.

  • This needs to have more views than all of these million dollar music videos. Don't just watch, spread the word!

  • all these crooks just want loads and loads of money and they are coming into power, and its so obvious. The government doesnt give a shit, the water is becoming flamable. But they dont understand nature. You will be sitting there in your well kept comfort zone one day eating at jack and the box and they are going to try and charge you 50 cents for some buttermilk ranch sauce and your going to revolt. Its going to drag on until then, but its pushing us closer and close Nature is on our side!

  • I want to see this...

How the f@#k can anything be exempt from the clean water act!?

Somebody get a fucking crowbar and beat Chaney.

(Don't actually do it, you'll get shot.)
