  • My fave Diru song of all time, just great stuff!

  • with my headphones on it sounds as if they're in the room behind me c:>

    ahh imagination

  • the gazette's toguro is best ^^

  • @MyThiNg94 of course there is always a troll like you in every diru vid xD GTFO

  • @BunretsuJinkaku trolololololololololo

  • amazing, reminds me A LOT of buck-tick's songs, just something about it, a lot of their 'trademark' moves in the composition, LOVE IT <3<3<3

  • waaa *o*

  • I'm in heaven. Just a night walk and I go to the end of the world...

  • They're good but The Gazette's Toguro song is faaaaaaar better :P

  • @TipsTapsTip not really the place to say something like that ;P

I like both songs the same ^^

  • This song is currently at 100 percent maximum strength.

  • DAMN o.o i tried singing this song ... and for the high parts i need someone to kick my balls... thats the only way XD but really i love kyo`s voice <3

  • my favourite part starts at 3:10. i can rewind to that part over, and over. and over, again.

  • Kyo's primal moaning in the very beginning of this song is the most addicting thing I've heard in a song in a long time. Love that shit.

  • So I was considering downloading this album because it's fairly decent and all the songs I've heard have great melodies, but the actual appearance and fanbase of the band are putting me off.

  • @FlyingFuckstorm ...because music is all about the appearance of the band and their fans! You're the kind of "fan" that real fans can't stand.

  • @FlyingFuckstorm I can see why you're named the way you are...You're name makes about as much sense as your comments. (Which is not much)

  • @endlessxaura My comments make a lot of sense, what part of them confuses you?

*Your, by the way. You're is you + are. Your is... your. i.e "this is your hat" and "you're not very bright"

  • @FlyingFuckstorm Yeah, yeah, so I made a small grammar mistake, which I realized but didn't bother spamming to correct, but my point is still relevant. What you said before didn't make relevant sense at all. "I don't like the music because they look stupid." Hmm...think about that for a moment. Yeah...doesn't make much sense, does it? You listen with your ears, not your eyes, so why should it matter? If you like the music, I don't see what's stopping you but yourself.

  • @endlessxaura Didn't say I disliked the music. I said the fanbase and general 'image' of the band seemed atrocious.

  • toshiya is sexy in this pic, huh

  • i am 20 been listening to them since i was 12 and i must say never been to their concerts becuase i dnt have too, and also i hate alot of diru fans for being stupid

  • 4 people were so impressed by this song that they were brought to tears and couldn't see the like button because of them

  • Siii, DEG en Mexico!!!

  • This is the song . . .

I've loved Dir en grey for years,But when i heard this live,My heart fell out of my ass.

    So much emotion.

    I love his chants.

    It's really. . . very amazing.

  • cool, where did you hear it?

  • @zenithar6666 Atlanta,GA.

  • A great song doesn't need to be understood lyrically to be great!!!!

  • さよなら人間~

  • i love this song :x

    dancing slowly forever sick <3

  • I have nothing but pure love for this song! While I can't understand Japanese all that well yet but this song seriously just makes me zone out no matter where I am or what I'm doing. To be able to affect someone like that with just their voice? Legendary, pure and fucking simple.

  • L

    O

    V

    E the song *w*

  • love the genre bending in this song, johnny cash meets Santana in a Japanese rock bar.

  • @thekgb85 This song reminds me more of old school Alice in Chains. Totally Kick Ass!

  • love this band with all my heart

  • I love this song so much. Definitely my favorite song from Uroboros. This song and Red Soil make Uroboros the amazing album it is. I might decide to upload this, and add the lyrics. *thumbs up*

  • i think uroboros is their best performance BUT i also like Vulgar and The Marrow a Bone.

  • i don't understand Japanese but i'm a big fan off many Jrock bands. They're freakin' awesome

  • no matter what V=-Kei band/artist are out there... if they did a song titled as "Toguro" it always seems to ROCK my BOXXars!

    -Mgo

  • why is it that no matter what ....any Japanese V-kei band that comes up with a song titled, "Toguro" rocks my boXXxSARs ^B^

    -mango XP

  • Great voice *_* love this song ! ! !

  • His crooning (or ululation), w/e it is, is the best!

  • I usually cannot stand mainstream music, especially anything mainstream with screaming and metal influences. However, Diru has written some of the greatest songs I listen to now...while getting "bigger" and "bigger"...It's an awesome surprise to see a unique band musically progress in style, technicality, and straight-up beauty.

  • @underzaoath While I never cared whether a band was considered 'mainstream' or not in the past, and more about the quality of the band in questions music..I would have to say that Dir en Grey is one of a kind and certainly deserves the recognition that a mainstream status offers. Isn't it about time the good stuff becomes popular and the great musicians get their well earned credit? At the expense of more annoying fangirls higher success would bring along.

  • @BarackoShujie Yes it is a great change...I don't mean to bash America, it's my native land and I love it, but we don't recognize good music here...it seems like Europe and other developed continents accept experimental and dynamic music much more, and are truly excited about it

  • That Photoshopped image hurts my eyes.

  • Look, to answer all questions and pretenses. Yes Dir En Grey's song has changed over years, but it had always had that same feel and depth that was tey're or even more so. Yes, each song are almost simliar to eachother, but it's m ore of the same feel, and like Die stated "Each song has it's own world". As for mainstream, yes, by that i mean yes more people know about them more... they still sound like no one else and have the obscure, awsome stuff they have always done. Go Diru :)

  • Wait... They never did an album as La:Sadie's, just various demo tapes IIRC (and a CD for their last song, supposed to be a single I think).

They did a release in indies (but it was a mini-album). Missa, that's probably what you meant but they still had the same name.

  • Would you rather them be something like Red Hot Chili Peppers? That band started off pretty hard then developed a gentler sound.

The fact is Dir en grey started off poppish, and they DID have a mainstream sound to many of the songs (mainly the singles, such as Yokan).

When a band attempts to make a release that has a similar sound to something they did before, it seems to me that they often end up failing, so I don't think Dir should try it.

I anticipate their next album to see where they go.

  • Love this song ;)

  • I don't see how you can think this sounds "mainstream" or "American". It is darker and more avant garde than any mainstream album I've ever heard, from any country. And this album has more influence from traditional Asian folk and classical music than any other VK-artist I've ever heard, with the possible exception of Kagrra.

  • What the hell.. you need to take your Visual-Kei-glasses off lady.. they're a Progressive Death Metal band now.. a true fan supports their band in every decision, and the decision to jump out of the VK-scene has been their best one ever.. Marrow of a Bone and Uroboros are amazing albums, I'm not saying their earlier music wasn't good but I prefer the darker music they make nowadays.

  • I really love this song.. Totally.

  • I don't know, I listen to a lot of mainstream stuff, and they couldn't sound less mainstream if they tried.

But, if they wanted to play all aggressive paint peeling hardcore metal, that's fine with me. I love metal.

  • Why does everyone seem to want them to keep sounding like Gauze?

I like that all their cds are different. That's the best most awesome think about Dir en grey.

  • I was watching a interview and they said they will keep the same sound but change it.. i love the fact that when they release a new cd they change there look to match the album.. Dir En Grey will always be the best band out there... I LOVE DIRU!!!

  • @chromesthesia

I concur. If every album sounded alike I wouldn't want to download anything...

  • @chromesthesia "Dir en grey sucked after they stopped working with Yoshiki. Cage is the best!!!!!" <--- true comment I heard in line at a concert once. *makes a wtf face*

  • It's very impressing to see how they changed in theyr whole career, but they'r amazing as always.

  • I love this song. <3

  • Yeah this song really is what made me buy the album rather than borrowing it...

  • I <3 this song =D!

  • Dir en grey x3

    I like this song a lot x3

  • Glass Skin (japanese version) is also cool!!

  • OMG i like it xD

    will see them live!!!

  • LOVE DIRU FOR LIFE !!!!!!!~~~!!!!!!!

  • i lover their songs that ar like this like vinushka

  • This is easily my favorite song from UROBOROS.

  • I wasn't too impressed by the CD but I fell in love with this song~IAmIva

  • thats your opinion, ive heard all their albums, and i think that this is potentially their best one...reminder: I said potentially, i havent made up my mind yet...lol...

  • I agree with you, however, I do think this is more an album that takes a few listens to really appreciate rather than just turning it on and loving it straight away if you know what I mean.

It's not my favorite, but I think musically, Inconvenient Ideal is their greatest achievement as a song.

  • I couldn't agree more with your opinion on Inconvenient Ideal. It's pure genius.

  • heh glad you agree. My fave part is the extended part of the last chorus where he sings the higher notes with his lower vocals backing behind it, but to really appreciate it, you must listen to the whole song to get to it first - let it build :)

  • I love this song <3 <3 <3

  • I never understand what their saying or what its about or even the age or name of the members but thats last on my mind, This is the greatest band ever I started listening to jrock because I'am sick of american music

  • Kyo is not 36 he's going to be 33 Feb 16.

  • I listened to this song for hours on repeat for the past three days.

It is definitely one of my favorites from their new album

    DIRU FOREVER!!

  • @missthief Mine too. Really like this song.

  • I absolutely love this song. My third favourite after Glass Skin and Dozing Green.

Dir en grey never ceases to amaze me.

    Uroboros = <3

  • This song is so beautiful, I love the sadness rythm when Kyo sing, at the 2:21.

I love the Sadness song. Utekurasu (it's me).

  • I only understand Japanese a little bit, but the way the song is laid out its sad, but ever so beautiful. That's what I love about Dir en Grey.

  • virgin comment

  • LOL!

    There's a first time for everything! :D
