Can 236B Go through projectiles on version 1.03 for consoles(basically CS2)? I dont see anything about that on dustloop, under tsubaki's frame data n i cant seem to get it to work with practice. I notice the video is showing gameplay from earlier versions. Is that y?
@dat1ngadaime The timing of that move is really hard to do considering you only get to by pass projectiles at the start of it. I think you'll find 214B to be a lot more useful/useable in real gameplay. If at the very least, 214B still goes through projectiles. Don't know about 236B.
You can only escape Tagers command grabs if he tries to use them in a combo or on a blocking opponent. If you tried this in any other game you wouldn't even get a purple throw: the command grab would just miss.
@youtuguru Cool, the cookie cutter, you know it doesn't work that way, answer. If not getting grabbed by Tager were as simple as it sounds no one would have a problem with him. Get outta here with that.
@LaSwagga: It's called grab teching and it's harder than regular teching since Tager has magnetism shenanigans. But any player with his salt will tell you that if you can tech his 360s (ffs you can even tech out of his distortion), you've taken one of his biggest advantages. All he has left is his Sledge Hammers and the shred of hope that you make a mistake. Then again, you're using Tsubaki AKA one of the least safe characters in the game.
@Zipp1 Um, it doesn't matter what level you play her at. Unless your opponent is a mashing scrub, you're going to lose. She doesn't have the tools to do anything otherwise.
@BaseOiboi You just enforced my point. If you have some skillful player against you, as in high level play, you are in trouble. But in random network matches? Nah, not so much.
@BaseOiboi I thought we were talking about her players in general, you make it sound as if NO ONE ever had any chance when using her. Let me quote: "Tsubaki is so bad that THEY'LL lose anyways"
Funny, I win all the time. She's not THAT bad, the only matchups I really notice her low tier is against Hazama, Bang, Litchi, and in some instances Tager.
@pktazn I wasn't saying anything about the players. I'm saying you shouldn't declare a character's balance simply on who plays it. If a beginner plays Bang, who happens to be top tier, and loses, does that mean Bang is no longer top tier? No, same with how if a good player uses Tsubaki it doesn't make her any more capable of having the necessary tools to win.

Indeed, there's no good reason to worry about tier! It's all in the skill.

This was really helpful. Poor Tsubaki is low tier but I still want to pick her up.
PS: CS2 release for PC, please. :)

I like Tsubaki's playstyle. Reminds me of Guy's from SSFIV w/ his run-stop pressure.

What an awsome tutorial.
Now give us a tutorial on how to deal with tagers bullshit.

@youtuguru u can tech tager's 360s right?
RaymondLau123 1 year ago
@RaymondLau123: Sadly, and this is coming from a Tager main whose secrets would rather be kept relatively safe.
FFS you can even tech his grab distortion.

This man knows exactly how I feel. Fuck Tager's stupidity.

Just a suggestion for you Aksys guys:
Please, next time, make the manual a little bigger.
Don't let all the moves and content in-game only.
Please put back the moves list for each character in the manual as well as in-game.
squallgallardo 1 year ago 2
@squallgallardo I know; I was shocked to see not a manual but a leaflet for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, which was odd since CT's was so much bigger.

I love Tsubaki!!
But right now, I'mtrying to main Hazama.

I don't think it'll matter if people watch this video or not because Tsubaki is so bad that they'll lose anyways.

@BaseOiboi Yes, because everyone plays at high level, where her performance actually matters.

@BaseOiboi That's a pretty harsh way to put it depending on the kind of players you're talking about :/
Not arguing that Tsubaki is bad but still...
