ok, I need help. I am new to 420 racing but I have been sailing my whole life. (I have my own wooden optimist that I have been sailing sice I was five) My racing coach refuses to teach me how to sail downwind with the spinnacker up! He hates 420s and only pays attention to the lazer racers... Can anyone give me any tips or instructions on what I should do to get started? Please? I am desperate!!!
Sailing doesn´t have to mean a 25 foot yacht. A 420 sailboat can make your heart go bumbum just as well and it´s so much more down to earth (or water and wind). Great video

for first time trappers it helps to try upwind before reaching. reaching is sketchy most of the time.
