  • Which are the chords for this version of the song?

  • I think they're just the same as the original song. If you put "Fratellis steamin' chords" in a search engine I'm sure you'll find them. :-)

Love the band by the way.

  • they change the lyric to steamin because in scotland steamin means drunk

  • love the lyrics to that song !!

  • Excellent song. Great cover. Anyone fancy giving me the chords?

  • the fratellis' cover is called steamin'.. not stealin'..

    stealin' was the oirignal

  • Strange Fruit, dude ^^

  • I can't get enough of this song.

    =D

  • I can't get enough of it either. The best version is a very old take by the Memphis Jug Band. I could listen to this song for hours at a time. Arlo Guthrie's version is okay, but Memphis Jug Ban is best. It's on the net somewhere.

  • Ugh, really? I listened to the old Memphis Jug Band version on itunes, out of curiosity, and thought it was horrible. I much prefer Jon's version.

  • Didn't know the Fratellis were Arlo Guthrie fans. (Yes, I know it's a trad. song but this interpretation is clearly is in the style of Arlo's cover.)

  • such a good song =)

  • I love this song even though i have just heard it now I LOVE IT!!

  • I love this song "I'm Steamin oh mama don't you tell on me i'm stealin back ma same ole use to be"♥

  • this a new song and yet no one's commented...

  • It's not a new song. It's actually a cover with the words changed. He played it once before, at ABC2 on 11th June 2006.
