This is what a horror movie is all about. Bleakness and desolation. This had an 'R' rating, so, what were parents complaining about? God, this film is absolutely classic!  A perfect film in the slasher genre. This film holds up quite well. I have this on VHS and I cannot count the times that I have seen it since I was a teenager. Truly scary, great effects and fun to watch!!!

That Grandpa is one of the spookiest parts of this movie!!!

I'll never forget watching this as a kid, but surprisingly I never believed in Santa Claus, as I knew all along, my parents sat up the presents--but Santa Claus is suppose to be a jolly and happy person for kidss--not no pyscho killer who kills people for no reason, even if they are naughty some times, thats not how you handle children for christ sakes!
