Surabaya Johnny adalah salah satu lagu yang ada dalam pagelaran komedi musikal "Happy End" ciptaan Kurt Weill, Elisabeth Hauptmann, dan Bertolt Brecht.

Gue sendiri gak tau arti lagunya apa, karena dinyanyiin dalam bahasa Jerman. Tapi kalo diliat dari tahun pembuatan Happy End di tahun 1929, kayaknya Surabaya nggak merefer ke nama kota. Kalaupun iya, pasti akan ditulis pake ejaan lama, "Soerabaja".

Milva at her very very best! Incredible, among the performances of the "fine fleur" of the German theater world, (Italian) Milva was the star of the evening! (Although the performance of Gisela May was also very excellent!)
