but from the start of the show jack has been shown as not a natural leader. he didn't want to lead but reluctantly took the role because a couple of people pointed out to him that the group had begun to see him that way and were relying on his leadership for hope. and in that scene with his dad, he was being told he can't fix everything
I don't think all this was character building, but I mean, it's season 6 so I think it's a little too late to introduce another 'time travel' agenda you know. But like they said, they're going to touch on a lot of season 1 elements in this season, so maybe.
like your theory man, i always though the same.. an it's cool you're looking for clues in the pilot episode, cause producers have always said thats a key episode...i think that on 6x14 you'll get some answers to your theory, you'll see...
@superk13ngreen or is that what they wanted you to think!? and btw we're all mother f@cking screwed!!! lost is ending and when its over i fear for my life because it will no longer have meaning!!! seriously!!!
the best reason to explain that it is a time loop is that in the pilot episode you see a tattoo on Jacks back when Kate is stitching him up and the tattoo is of a K and a 8 K8(Kate) This proves that he already knew Kate before the crash, and probably at sometime when he got off the island and was with Kate he got a tattoo on his back of a K8 with a butterfly
Michael Fox had tattoos before the show. They gave them a story so they wouldn't have to cover them up with make-up for every episode. Unless that tattoo was an addition, I think for once, there IS a coincidence on the show. :P
I like your ideas, especially since Jack (Matthew Fox) is my fave actor, and cast member. I never noticed many things you mention, BUT why do you keep saying Jack didn't have a drinking problem when it began during his divorce? And obviously before the crash? P.S. I've missed a few episodes, so I might be asking a retarded question, but still...?? LOVE LOST!! and JACK!! ;-)
There is a star trek TNG episode were the enterprise is caught in a time-loop, the loop repeats itself every 48 hours or so. and every loop the crew gets dejavus and proceeds to remember more and more from the loops before. this could be the "knowing" Locke suddenly has. The people dont age from loop to loop, it just restarts :)
I have seen the END and the writers did not reveal such a thing...
Although you did a nice job and I quite agree with you.
The person Ι thought was special or knows more was John Locke though...

interesting video, cause the Jack had the status of choking, and now everything is coming to be 'obvious'...
Would be Jack the Lost's 'Donnie Darko'?
hahahaa
