  • I'm Pretty Sure I Just Seen That Same Lick From Jun 626 in the Video Lazy.Bet My ASAT Classic On It. Not That It Wasn't Good. But PLEASE !!! Don't Compare Jun626 to SixString63. C'mon Now. SixString63 Can Play It Bro. Not Taking Anything Away from Jun626,But Sixstring63 IS the CAT'S MEOW to Say the Least.

  • everyone tries to be the fastest.... except from you Jun!

  • Clealy have the best*

  • Clear

  • Jun 626 and sixstring63 clearly have the treasurer knowledge of theory as their solos at points were very technical and that was used to their advantage.

  • the only solo that i liked was the one by jun626, the rest are all just heavily distorted copys of guitarists like steve vai, randy rhoads, etc. their is no soul in that. personaly i find it almost unlistenable. anyway great solo jun!

  • I don't think anyone denies Jun's extraordinary talent and FEEL for a tune. This particular collaboration reminded me of Eddie and the Cruisers 2, when Eddie, incognito is at the home of that canadian kid that wants Eddie to teach him to be a better player. Jun is like Eddie to these other guys. He has a much finer feel. HE doesn't get overbearing on the notes. HE doesnt rely on electronic trickery. But hey, if I were in a bar, I'd listen to any of these guys. Jun should play the Hollywood Bowl.

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!!

  • yo if you could get a tab on this or whatever that would be hot... cause it would be so fun to play this with a band like as a song where u just solo the entire time!!!!

  • neat collab...

  • The guy at 3:09 looks a lot like Carlos Santana LOL

  • Its a shred-fest and does a differnt take on this particular tune. I got a kick out of all the different players. Yeah, it maybe isn't the blues but it shows a lot of talent and technique, something to be said for that too. Nice work, gents.

  • juns the best

  • couldn't bare sitting through the whole thing. the first three guys exuded cheesy. jun, you're a great player, and it was refreshing to see you brought a tele to this wank-fest.

  • thanks fer that....made me go to my room n play...

  • too much metal not enough blues

  • Japan 3 Denmark 1......great guitar playing too

  • jun please answer me im dieing to know whats your favorite guitar you own or have

  • @futebalmakedonia 1999 USA vintage strat

  • simply put.... AMAZING! and jun, your part mate, is BLOODY AWSOMENESS! no i should say it is THEE' AWSOMENESS! i just started playing guitar 3 months ago and now im inspired more than ever to become as awsome as YOUZ! (and hopefully better xD)

  • Freaking Awesome.

I would've preferred to see it played a little sloppier lol.

A song like going down needs that rawness.

    Just my personal opinion :)

  • Calling Page "sloppy" is a mistake that many guitar players have used over the years.

  • ocrue and jun were the best and most original. the rest was mehh...

  • Lol what happened at 1:26??? He looks pissed...

  • I liked the Sixstring## dude the most.

  • once again jun showing everyone up! niceeee

  • I liked em all but Jun626s style is the one that I like the best

  • Loved Jun's bit, great solo

The other ones are just too much... it's a blues classic and jun played it how it should be

  • MrLucky923 beat me to the punch. how would all of the other solos sound without your $1000's of dollars in EFX? it just seems so.....fake and gay?

  • ok, on 2nd thought, i really like ebealienhead's solo.... man, that was sweeeeeeet!!!!

  • wow, awesome display of technique!!! for pure shredding with no musical content it gets a 10!!! for musicianship it gets a 0.... these guys are great but the only one that played with any FEELING is Jun626.... but dont get me wrong,.... these guuys are incredible guitar players... but if ya wanna hear what real musicians do with a guitar listen to SRV or PAGE....

  • @MrLucky923 i agree but page is very sloppy. i love him to death buthes a sloppy player.they were good in this vid only a couple werent to my liking

  • Where's BUCKHEAD, you missed KFC CHICKENHEAD - Ha ... :O)

    I love it great vid!

  • only jun626 made the hairs on my neck stand up

the others are good but sound the same jun has amazing tone and a hard axe to shred on

    great work

  • SixString63, Ocrue, and Jun626 are the best on here in my opinion...

  • I liked SixString63, Ocrue, Jun626's CraigMan65, and ASPHYX123's those were good to, it seems like all the good ones were in the middle.

  • guys this is great!!!

  • Nice job editing and a great source of finding these guys. Only heard of Jun626 before. A striking dearth of tone as has been commented with a couple of exceptions and NO slide players. I do it in open E and the harmonic potential is striking. For the descending riff I pair the B strings then do a 1 maj 3 harmony.

  • the first guy had a nice laid back kinda of feeling and and was cool like jun

  • Great Job Guys!! Love it.

  • sixstring63 sounds the best in my opinion :)

  • EricMaldonadoMusic is annoying.

  • @sunburststratocaster Thanks for the great comment :) Have a nice day.

  • DougFCKNSteele had so much distortion I couldn't even make out the guitar.

  • not much of a structure in that I think, but Jun's always doing a great job anyways!

  • Awesome.

  • I thought that they're all good, all the different interpretations sounds awesome.

  • おもろい企画まげ

    5*****

  • is the second guitarist tom morrello's dad?

  • Jun definetly makes this video worthwhile, and perhaps ocrue and sixstrings, the rest, yea like the other comments say, they seem like clones of Steve Vai

  • terrible. how are these considered the best players on youtube??? all sound like vai clones the lot. theres more to guitar than this particular style and sound. sure when you knobs read my comment ur going to say - better than you wah wahwah. But apart from jun I wasn,t impressed. its all light guage string wank and heavey on the effects-this is nothing to do with the blues - histrionic bollocks - sucks bwhahahah

  • I totally agree with the Vai Clones thing, ebelalienhead usually has really good stuff...but all of this was really generic metal shredding except for Jun...and Ocrue, and perhaps SixString63

  • I agree so much. The art of a guitar tone is dying. It's turning into huge distortion with humbuckers. It kills the feeling. I hate that tone. And that playing.

  • I agree. I like jun626's tone. It's clean and I can actually hear how the guitar was made to sound.

  • @raindogred

everybody say hello to the hater

  • @LaurensVandoorne Hows it going-clone lover:)

  • @raindogred By virtue of this comment, it appears that your understanding of the English language is lacking. It clearly says 10 of youtubes finest players. Not the best 10 players on youtube.

I personally think most of these solo's are very nicely crafted and executed.

  • amazing! DougFCKNsteele is a awesome guitarist!

  • GREAT!!!!

    thanks for sharing

  • tasteful solo jun. ridiculous, but tasteful

  • Song by Freddie King.

  • who is this song by????

  • Jun: I sensed some Deep Purple influence

Asphyx: Is this the easiest thing in the world for you?

Cool idea, the song itself could've used more structure

  • holy s**t! WOW!!!!!

  • Fantastic job guys!

  • Great Video! Sounds great.

  • Amazing video!

    Amazing idea!

    all great players!!!

    thanks for sharing!

    peace.

    Rodrigo Aquino Drums

  • jun sound was a bit thin but awesome!

    earned my respect!

  • From Ebealienhead to Ocrue.. after it got boring and pretty redundant.. other then that good playing from everyone.

Especially you Jun, you always shine from the rest.

  • Delawellsoulmusic?

    Gewher44?

    just some suggestions

  • jun626 and ocrue are the best guitar players

but all in this video are amazing

that are the best ten guitar players on youtube

  • @bobyhops Seriously on youtube there is also don ross who owns in a totally different way lol.

  • Great playing guys!!

    But where is Larz Gallows??

    LOL

  • jun626 had the sound!!

  • Somehow jun626 felt out of place in this bunch

  • @roqe666 Well, it would be like Jimmy Page going up against Joe Satriani.. Totally different style.. Both kick ass.. At least that is how I see it..

  • Great idea, liked them all! But I've been a jun626 fan for awhile. IMO Jun's style reminds of Jimmy Page playing a tele or Les Paul vs the other players shredding on an Ibanez with scales.

  • jun626 best imo ;p, btw where's gewerh44?

  • pretty sure chappers should be here

  • Very good I enjoyed this, thanks for posting ! 5 STARS !

  • The playing and technique is quite amazing, but I found that most of the solos tended to be pentatonic based, only moving outside the blues notes to play in the minor based musical modes. I liked the fact that Jun utilized major modes and notes in his solo, which I thought broke the monotony. His solo was definately the most appealing in my opinion.

  • I liked ebealienhead, jun626 and SIXSTRING63's parts

  • funny thing......

I thought Asphyx123 solo was the most inspired and original out of all of them. All the rest sounded uninspire - just going through the motions - guitar calisthenics.

  • nah g... not at all

  • I was as bored as Asphyx123 looks like.

  • This is stunning..a wake up call to the music industry that the best players are at home doing their stuff on the tube.

Who is tomorrows guitar hero, ....YOU.

  • Jun's really was the only part that I cared for. rchaser4 is right...the "cock rock shredding" gets tiresome. Sure it looks cool, but that isn't what it's about.

  • Awesome playing by everyone. Jun your part was amazing!!

  • Thanks my amazing brother!!!

  • I'm glad others agree. Jun stood out, unquestionably.

It was tiresome listening to the rest of the "cock-rock" shredding.

Now where is my 5 gal drum of aquanet . . . .

  • what a brilliant clip.

    The influences....

    The talent....

    AWESOME.

Thanks to all, and a merry Christmas to all!

  • Like Jun said, this is a "Christmas present" - not a competition. I heard a lot of Ted Nugent influence (maybe the backing track?) in the distorted parts and they were good. (Not everyday shredders in GC) I enjoyed the entire segment & appreciated all of it. We are all Jun626 fans (and Frenchytouch's), that is why we are here on his page....no pun intended. Appreciate the entertainment and hope they collaborate again. Nice vid and mix! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

*Tips hat to all the players.

  • Cool!

  • talented

    great idea

  • big is music .

    veri good ..

  • i agree completely with all the jun626 comments...everything else sounded like a lame-ass 80's night...thanks again jun.....amazing man.

  • jun , i can make a close call that the telecaster is your favorite guitar, am i right?

  • Encore! Lighters Lit! Now, you guys take off on a Christmas song - pick one - and Merry Christmas to all of you and God Bless. Many thanks. That was hot.

Let's hear a bluesy Christmas for an encore!

    Damn that was fun.

  • great idea. merry christmas

  • It may be a collaboration of the the 10 best but jun626 is still NUMBER ONE!!

  • hey JUNE what distortion pedal< do you use in this video?

  • i took a nap and when i woke up it was 1986. unfortunately.

  • Great job by all by i prefer a much cleaner tone with less reverb and distortion like jun's..

  • jun is a page/blackmore/etc. 70s style player with a classic sound between all the other 80s-till-today metal guitars... and (as often said before) this seems to be much more appealing (at least to me).

you do not need to be much faster than that, e.g. I always will rate Blackmore over Malmsteen.

  • The leads have NO FEELING. This is like an advertisement for Effects Pedals. (lol)

  • Jun totally rocks, absolutely fantastic playing...the others...sorry fellas, I would describe it as soulless drivel

  • They were all amazing. But I thought Jun Stood out a little more.

  • Saw it on Dave's Channel but just to let you know, Very Colorful + beautiful tone and playing by Jun, I'm glad to be included with him and along with the the rest who really are very inspiring players!

    Rock on!!!

  • Hi Lai,Thank you very much for your comment! I'm really honored to play with you guys!!!

  • NICE

  • awesome idea

  • i liked that asphyx guy.

  • i think the reason why Jun stood out so much was because he was different from everyone else. They seemed to have the same type of 80s hair metal tone. Jun had that old school sound, and he just destroyed everyone else.

  • i agree

  • agreed

  • simple as that...its basically called being unique

  • hmmm...this last guy mcdonaldsomething should put a guitar a bit lower.......

    jun is a killer

  • I appreciate the technical ability of the other players but musically they all just washed straight past me like nothing was happening.

Then when Jun626 comes in, it's totally different, the individual in the bunch, suddenly I'm paying attention to every move. And maybe I imagined it but it seemed to cleverly refer to McCartney's 'Taxman' solo somehow!

Wish I had a way to explain this without being negative about the others... but Jun626 really stood out.

  • I think that it seemed to you that way because everyone out there tried to show off their ability to play fast and jun on the other hand with a guitar none of them used the tele he played music not notes ...JUN626!!! xD

  • Completly agree everyone sounded the same and I wasn't paying attention to it really but when Jun came on I was just blown away, and had to watch his a couple more times.

  • 100% agreed man. Jun is amazing, you can definitely see that Jimmy Page is a massive influence for him also, his covers of Zeppelin are badass.

Wasn't Taxman a Harrison song though?

  • @nik3887 - yeah but with guitar solo from McCartney, he did almost the same solo on John's 'Good Morning, Good Morning' as well.

  • Oh yep cheers for clearing it up. McCartney fucking rocked in that solo, I knew he could play a guitar but I never knew he was that capable. Time for me to start plowing through some Beatles albums...

  • Yes it was

  • great job by all.

  • I think Jun626 is the best on here right now. The guy blows me away every time.

  • well well well, really great job.

my compliments to all, but i thought that jun626 stunned me the most, what an AWESOME SOLO jun, btw i recognized a bit of Zep's heartbreaker in jun's solo, don't you?? = D

    Great job.

    5*

  • AWESOME TTM (Y)

  • amazing! this video hypnotizing me' awesome! thank you for uploading this video!

  • Mind-blowing

  • I fucking love Jun's style, so refreshing when he comes in.

  • jun's guitar sounds sick in contrast with all the other ones. awesome colab jun. keep up the beautiful work.

  • there was just one note missed other than that it was pretty good

  • excellent collaboration !

all the guitarists are great ! 5/5

  • Bravo, this is total awesome. talented people.

  • All due respect to you and the other fine guitarists you featured Jun, but you didn't include Theodore Ziras (user tziras). He's probably the finest shredder on youtube!

Also of note is Mateus Schaffer (user name mateusschaffer) who does an amazing job with David Gilmour and Beatles stuff! (check out his 11 Beatles solos and 8 Pink Floyd solos).

You and Mateus should do a couple virtual videos together!!

Keep 'em coming Jun! Happy Holidays!

  • 5 stars . . . As Always Jun

  • Awesome Awesome!!!!Just Great!!!

  • I think all the guitarist were awesome .. Jun has kind of Jimmy page style ..

  • @freetodoanything Jun's playing here is very Blackmore-ish imo

  • I respect everyone's playing ability on here, but it always comes down to less flash and more tasteful note selection for me. I like it better when the really tasty bends and phrases build up to some rapid-fire flourishes. When the flash comes too soon there's no build and it gets old.

  • hey Jun, I enjoyed the whole video!

I think Dave, Ocrue and you were the best here. I love your styles!

  • 僕もいつかコラボがしたいです。けど自分もっと練習しないと。。。素晴らしいビデオありがとうございます。

  • 圧倒されました。本当に素晴らしいですね。

  • Hello Jun :) Thank you very much, for this beautiful Christmas present. All of you guys are really great. Merry Christmas Jun!

  • 潤さんこんばんは(^^♪・・ただ、ただ、皆さんの絶妙なトーンバランスと作品の編集技術に目を見張るばかりです、、

  • All were fantastic, great collaboration and such a treat to watch. Thank you!!

  • Jun r the best.... very similar to Mr jimmy page... XD amazing

  • excellent vid

  • Jun is my favorite

  • Thanks for the awesome present ! I love it. That ole Jeff Beck Tune very cool of you guys and most of you are on my friends list. Wonderful! Happy Holidays. God_bless you

  • all you guys did a awesome job but your tone and playing was simple beautifull...

  • Jun was simply the best it was like a fusion between his style and the Grandpa Jimmy page 5/5 as always jun!

  • loved jun's part. definitely the best. the only other one i actually liked was ocrue's

  • Great job Julien. Loved your classic tone. Was fun to jam along with all you guys on this track and to see how everybody brought in his own style. Keep on rocking and Happy Holidays to everyone!

  • Jun's tone was the best.

  • the first guy is dave he's awesome. glad he subscribed me :)

  • PDXGuitarfreak looks like he's from another dimention! haha hooray PRS

  • Comment removed

  • awesome stuff guys all of you rock

  • Awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing \m/

  • Wild stuff man. Right on! Thanks for the share.

    Peace!

  • i love how jun is the only one without a pattern really hes just jamming everyone else has a pattern hahah

  • i knew one of them had to have a les paul!

  • where is rob chappers?

  • I don't know but I think jun's the one that plays with his own sound thats unique like PAGE, BECK. GILMOUR. ETC. He has feeling that comes from within.

  • Im glad I subscribed!!

Excellent ..Im watching listening and learning...

  • Where's Jeff Beck when we need him?

  • Really, really great!

  • Amazing

  • Juns Telecaster sure stands out in that heap of Ibanez's, Kramers, and Strats. Merry Christmas, man.

  • don't forget the PRS' and Les Pauls

  • OK, that's fine. What exactly dou you consider "finest player"? I can only see a bunch of them going fast on the fingerboard. Some of them have soul. Others do not.

  • is this a metal contest?going as fast as you can is not everything

  • Jun your solo is the best , there is so much soul , power and heart , just like Jimmy's solos , no one in this movie can play like you , great classic style and tone !

  • mm, mm, mm dope, dope, dope

  • No Riffguy?

  • Great!!

    that's really cool.

  • Jun, your solo was sooooo page that it's not even funny.

  • Haha, true
