  • I figured there was a cultural difference so I looked up your profile. You're Puerto Rican, you're trying to kill yourself to be the perfect BMI. You need a new man. And a new family. That ain't love. I just don't feel the love. I hope your man hasn't been sleeping around on you, just so disrespectful. I hope things have gotten better since this video, for you and those you love, because right now I'd be worried about you all.

  • Wow u did very good :) When im older im hoping to have 2 children. Im was pretty nervous about it but now that i have watched this i am inspired by u. Haha but i wont have to worry about having kids soon bcuz im only 13 right now x)

  • Made me think of the one true god and do u cuss cause he said honey don't cuss it's a video

  • Happy Birthday Mr.Jaden

  • This video makes me really sad. This woman is doing an amazing job birthing her baby. I find it really hard to believe no on encouraged her or touched her but rather they made fun of her and laughed at her. What amazing strength that she was able to endure that behavior and get through her labor unmedicated.

  • two not too lol

  • You zoned in to ur baby and did soooo well, splinters wud bring those too males to their knees just pathetic

  • Wow, what a jerk!

  • omg.. i want to have my baby without epidural since my boyfriend told me it will give u back problems with ur spine.. but im soo scared i wont b able to take the pain

  • both of those men are such jerks, I'd like to see them give birth without drugs, if i were that woman i would have kicked both of their pathetic asses out!

  • great jo sucks about no1 helpin u my wife had two of our three with out the drugs the last one she had to have epi cuz of a c section

  • so sorry u had to endure those creeps.i hope u r free from them now!!!you deserve better.

  • pls tell me you left that yerk and hes not with you still? I would totally kick the crap out my husband if he makes fun of me. Thank God everything go well.

  • that guy is a dick ! hes makin a joke out of it, he should be over there rubbing her and helping her get through this thats what real men do he should feel bad for her!!!!!

  • Gosh I don't know how you did it flat on your back.... why werent you moving around ?it would have helped!!

  • They were laughing at her the whole time....men are so damn stupid! Glad I'm single.

  • men like them. My men wont make fun of me , trust me he knows better, but this fuckers are so stupid for doing that.

  • What is it like to give birth naturally?

  • good job may god bless u

  • good job

  • Why in the hell would you do that to yourself? Not being mean or anything. But didn't that hurt? This makes me want to never ever have sex. EVER! Thank god I'm still a virgin. I'm only 16 1/2 anyways. It all looks too painful. Even getting a epidural. Too much pain.

  • Still virgin until you find the right guy pls. 2. Epidural is good cos takes some pain away but the drugs can go to your baby and you cant move as much cos your body is numb, and some women that had the epidural needs oxigen.. Pain free is the natural way, yes it is painful but is a choice that you made. You will have sex and you will get pregnant some day. but remeber every pregnancy and labor are diffrent. So dont freak out hun. mom had my sister in 30 minutes. see all diffrents. :)

  • I bet he was just jealous because she didn't moan like that while actually making the baby.

  • @TheBaronessIsAwesome You got that right, I sure as heck never did lol

  • Wow, I am so impressed with this video. I am sorry you had to put up with being a show for the people in that room, but you really made natural childbirth seem possible, which is really hard to do especially w/ people like that in the room!

  • @ericajamie08 aww thanks hon :) you're very sweet!

  • GREAT JOB handling the contractions! I did that once unintentally without anything whatsoever and wouldn't ever again. Too painful! Congrats!

  • @angelica97007 :) thank you, I'm pregnant again, and planning on going natural again, this time I'm engaged to the most amazing man, not the a-hole in the vid and I know it'll be great!

  • @wendypadro So am I..congrats! When are u due?

  • My favorite part of this video is when the men shut the hell up & the country song plays (the lyrics are so much more loving their words) This beautiful woman is doing a superhuman job giving her baby the best natural start in life & suffers for it while these jack-asses are in the room gawking and mocking. Thank you for helping me decide to go natural AND to keep annoying people OUT OF THE ROOM. You are an amazing woman!

  • @seestarrs I had begged them to leave, for my mom (the one that was pacing) to stay and everyone else get the heck out, it didn't happen and I didn't want my labor to be so open with them there. I didn't even want the father there. This time around I'm excited to be going natural again and this time I have an amazing man by my side and it'll be just us in the room :) Thank you sooooo much for your words :)

  • @wendypadro Congratulations! I am so inspired...I am 15 weeks and your video helped me cement in my mind to go natural. Especially hearing that you'll do it again. Thanks for the inspiration & I hope you will post your new birth, along with your new sweet man there to support you!

  • Why that old guy is in the labor?

  • @Animatorbluesky because the dumb-a wouldn't leave! I didnt' want them there and there they were, he even took the baby away when I was trying to breast feed, worst delivery ever! Luckily my son was healthy and perfect!

  • they should kick them out if you didnt want them there. youre the mom.I want my husband and mom if someone gets in. Im so calling the cops. lol :)

  • How the family sat around making rude comments disgusted me.

  • aww.....hes very handsome :-)

i still remember holding my son for the first time

they truely are a gift from god and an amazing blessing :-)

  • @nailsbyas89 Thank you!!! :) yes you never forget those moments!

  • what a fuken asshole dat jackass dnt even know the pain we go through wat a jerk...

  • @RUBYGONZAlEZ9269 you said it!!! :)

  • aww, touching video :) I'm 39 weeks and am also wanting to go epidural and drug free. but this video scares me a little... lol

  • I'm so sorry your family disrespected your natural birth this way.

  • I'm shocked at the lack of respect for your wife and daughter. Put down the *&^%$(*& Camera and comfort your wife loser! OMG did Grandma just plug her ear and walk away? Your husband and family win the worst birth support person of the century! I'm sick.

You deserve to be honored for your natural child birth not mocked. I'm so sorry your birth was treated with such disrespect.

Congrats on your very sweet baby.

  • moaning is good :)

    keep moaning, it helps!

sorry but your husband should respect your bubble and keep it quiet...

  • Wtf he is like laughing at her pain wot kinda support is that , loser

  • i can guarentee you the moment you started whistling and started rapping and what not.. she wanted you dead.

  • haha i see the person recording u was having a blasttt in min 3:40 whistling awayyyyy haha bless

  • LABOR SUCKS!!!! too bad imma have to go thru it one more time.....im scared....cause i know what to expect now....

  • I am due in about 14 weeks and want a natural birth but i am scared of the pain i will have to go through.I am so small that even when the baby moves my stomach begins to ache horribly.I am having worse chest pains now and i almost fainted once.I once decided on an epidural but i am terrified of needles.I see a needle and i immediately begin to freak out.Either way i do not think i can survive this pregnancy

  • @angel703888 - you might change your mind when you experience contractions, the worst pain ever, i was like you didnt want any epidural, but then requested it in the end coz of pain. Worst thing is, its too late for them to give me epidural. anyway im lucky to have my 3 weeks old son now, after 19 hours of labor. Also i dont have enough sleep for 3 weeks now hehehe. not compalining I LOVE IT!! u know a mother will do anything for her child.

  • Those men are bastards!!! I don't find this funny at all! I'd like to see men go through that pain. Dickheads!!

  • my mother did it natural. im 21 weeks now & im for sure getting the epidural, but shes brave for pushing me out with no medication!

  • While I admire you there was no way in hell I wasn't having an epidural. I'm to big a chicken.

Plus it ended up being a moot point cause my duaghter was in distress and I had to have a section.

  • AMAZing. Im going to be 19 weeks, and im planning on a healthy natural delivery, My mom had 4 natural deliveries. A little scared after seeing this now. If you have any tips please share! babies are a natural thing and they deserve to com into this worl drug free.. This is the way it usto be back in the day. CONGRATS!!!

  • beautiful video!

  • Poor girl I am 34w 1d what your doing is amazoning... I want to do the natural too. Congrats.

  • aww! i was due may 17th 2009 she was born may 22nd 2009 . . i wanted a natural birth but i was so scared. I got an epidural and it wore off when i started to push. . . I FELT EVERYTHING! . . i even felt the contractions . . PAIN!! lol

  • i completley dissagree with misslori66 & @sailorralphy. I admire your dicision! Im due in May with my first + i plan on having a drug free labour. Wether i can go through it without an epidural we'll soon find out. Congratulations + good job :)

  • You could have been relaxed and talking with your family if you had an epidural. Epidurals are not the worst thing in the world. You CAN still feel the baby and the contractions. Also, epidurals do not stop you from breastfeeding. I had epidurals with both my kids and my experience was much better. Breathing exercises only help in the first stages of labour by the way. If people think suffering will give you some type of metal, then go for it suffer.

  • No No misslori66 con la Epidural NO se siente las contracciones ni al bebe, es una anestesia que hace que no sientas nada del proceso del parto.

  • @misslori66

In the other words - epidural IS a Thing for Modern INDEPENTANT AND Relesed women! :-))))))) ahahahahahahaaaaa!

  • @misslori66 What an evil, nasty thing to say. I thought Women's Liberation Movement was about uplifting and encouraing women to make decsions that are best for each individual woman, instead of meekly doing what Male Dominated Society thinks is best.

  • Don't knock her for wanting to go natural. I think she was very brave!

  • I gave birth to my son with just a pethidine injection and a bit of gas and air- it's such a shame they didn't teach you the birth song and breathing techniques- they work. We were told never to grip hold tight on anything as that makes things worse because you tense all your muscles- bad idea- makes me glad I had my baby under the British National Health system

  • @sailorralphy this woman is so happy about her birth then you just came in and had to critisize her every move.... maybe you could show a little joy for her and congrats to her instead of telling her everything she did wrong....

  • its by lonestar

  • the song is amazed by you. forgot who by though aha:)) look it up on google xx

  • what song is this???? plz reply :D

  • Well, women did it for 1000's of years with no pain meds. But, I agree, your Hubby is making fun of you. Not nice at alll!

  • Im sorry to say but i dont like the way ur huzzy is making fun of you.... ur in pain, and him makin fun of just well out out order...

  • i know i wanted to kill that bastard! lol

  • wow that is so crazy because i was gonna name my son jayden michael, but i just changed it back to justin lol

  • your husband cheated on you? and he was such a dick he made fun of u in labor?! what a fucking ass!

  • Wow, shes in pain and her husband is laughing.. what an asshole!

  • thank God he's not my hubby lol but yeah i completely agree, a totall A-hole!

  • You people have no idea if she was able to get up and move around.. With my son they broke my water and they wouldnt let me out of bed.

  • Katlyne0918 ...true! I forget how often American OB's confine women to the bed for various reasons. Thank you for reminding me! :)

  • same here, it sucks! =)

  • what song is this?

  • @Katlyne0918 -- same here, I was kept in bed, I asked to get up and use my birthing ball and they wouldn't let me up, I was furious. This time around I'm hoping to be able to move, dif hospital of course :)

  • I am due in less than two weeks and am preparing to go without the epdiural. If you can do it with not only zero support but with people gawking at you and making fun while your are in pain, then I can too. You have inspired me to committ 100% to natural child birth. You did a great job but I was sick to my stomach listening to those men mocking you. It really was cruel of them, but you have inspired me.

  • Why is she labouring on her back? GET UP AND MOVE AROUND!!

  • My thoughts exactly!! GET UP and OUT OF BED and birthing will be less painful and more effective... UP UP UP ... gravity is your friend.

  • how do you know that they would let her get up??

  • they didnt and it sucked, i wanted to walk, move, anything! lol

  • She's in agony and he's laughing? What a jerk. Norman men hate to see their wives suffering.

  • OMG! theres a girl in my school and shes got the EXCACT same name. Surame and everything:L.x

  • You look like the exorcist.. IM GETTING AND EPIDURAL!!

  • If I was this woman I would immidiately leave this insensible husband. I would never forgive that he had such a goo mood while watching this.

  • dutch women do this all the time unless you have a csection no epidurals here, it is typical america to give birth in hospitals wit epidurals, here we give birth at home I am glad I live here

  • I have had one crappy (unmedicated but crappy) hospital birth and one gorgeous homebirth. There is no going back from that awesome experience.

  • OMG I just read what that low life good for nothing did to you!!! You definately are a strong woman and I know that only good things will come for you and your precious lil angel. Huge hug to you both <3

  • Comment removed

  • that's cause you a lesbian that's why..yup

  • to latina3434arabe, you feel that way towards men, because you are probably one ugly ass stocky looking lesbian with facial hair and a fade! plus you mad cause guys diss you all the time too. It sucks to be you doesn't it?

  • Poor you! I cant believe those men were trying to make a song while you were moaning in pain. What those men did was immature and un-called for. But anyway, props for having a natural, drug-free childbirth. I plan on doing the same when my baby is due :)

  • wow what a loser. Good for you for leaving. I was just hoping you are the older lady would come over and bitch slap that idiot. Best of luck

  • If my husband does that to me when I go into labor next month... I'll kick him out of the room and kick his butt afterwards!!!!

  • i soooo totally agree!!! ... I'm sure yours wont be horrible =) Congratulations and good luck!!! =)

  • You are so brave. You've inspired me to go drug free on my labor as well. Give you even more props for putting up with those two!!

Thanks for posting this video. Congratulations and thanks for your good wishes... only 7 weeks to go!!!

  • I can't believe how unsupportive and lame those men were behind the camera. I was offended even watching I can't imagine how you must have felt. Yuck.

  • очень красивый и нежный ролик) это семья) настоящая)

  • I'd have told your husband and especially his dad to get the hell out. Totally taking the piss. He should be right next to you suporting you. Hope you gave him hell when you watched this back - you were really amazing

  • i tried, no one listend. the experience sucked, but thank goodness I have a beautiful and very active 2 year old. Yes, I gave him hell many times over for this, and then it all came clear as to why he didnt even care...

  • she sounds like an air raid siren :)

  • lol

  • Those men sound like idiots! Im sure she didn't really hear them while being in the pain but what dicks! I would have told them both to get the hell out!

  • honestly, I barely heard them, but I did a few times and asked them to leave or stfu, they never did. im just happy my lil guy is a healthy 2 year old now =) thank you hon!

  • Did you get rid of this man? Your BF or husband? He is a jerk you would be much better off without him. I am very impressed with your strength!!

  • i did actually... turns out he'd been cheating on me since i was just shy of 3 months pregnant.

  • Congrats! You had a natural birth while strapped on your back, the most painful position possible for birth. You're a rock star! Next time try a home birth or a birthing center birth, and you will see that if you are up moving around, it is WAY less painful. But now that you've done this, you know you can do anything!

  • I totally agree. I went through 8 hours of hard labor (30 second pushes every 3 minutes) ENTIRELY on my back...and once the drugs used to induce labor set in, there was no time to get an epidural.

  • kakšen kreten od dedca. namesto, da bi jo za roko držal, budalo. jaz bi mojemu jajca odtrgala, če bi mi to delal.

  • This guy makes me sick. Instead of acting like a child how about you go support your wife or leave her alone. Poor woman, I would be so upset if people were acting like that while I was in labor.

  • I'm sorry, but if my husband was whistling and the father in law was clapping his hands and making music while I was moaning in pain...I would divorce him and tell him to leave the room. A women in labor deserves more respect for what she goes through to give birth. I don't mean any disrespect, but this really upset me to see them acting the way they were.

  • Distractions help when those contractions come!

  • @amandawonderboy I agree with you, made me sick to my stomach

  • I had natural childbirth with all 4 of my kids,I remember making the same moaning sounds, you should be proud to deliver drug free!

  • smile hunny! hahahaha

  • I know! unbelievable lol. If my husband had've been filming from the other end of the room instead of giving me support where i needed him, there would have been words, I can tell you!

  • Im nervous this is my 1st baby and im due in 6 weeks !!

  • I think you did an amazing job...

My son is almost ten now, and I just found out I'm expecting... I'm a little scared but I know I can do it ;)

You motivated me to go drug free again!!

    Great job...

I was wondering who sings the song @the beging of the video??

  • I recently had my son med and epidural free also after 24.5 hours of all bakc labor lol. We women are strong and there needs to be more like us. Good job!

  • "all back labor lol"

    Well done, congratulations!

Do you mean though that you were on your back all this time? Was that your or someone else's choice? Why didn't you move around into different positions? Try it if there is a next time!

  • I moved around a lot yes but the pain was in my lower lumbar spine mostly and that is called back labor. It is the most painful labor you can have because the baby was in a Posterior position. My midwife had to turn him anterior before he came out.

  • I had 20 hours of back labour...I had a homebirth... i did get quite a bit of relief while on my hands and knees with someone pushing on either side of my pelvis... if you move and sway your hips and squat it opens the pelvis so much... on your back our pelvis actually closes 27%... makes labour and pushing ALOT more difficult.

  • not to be an ass, but your not going to keep the wt down if your popping out kids. girls do the p90x thing and then start poping out the kids and then wonder why there fat again

  • duh! this was back in 07, im done having children

  • just wanted to let u know that your video has inspired me to have a natural birth, im due june 4th and this is my first child!!!

  • Natural childbirth is more than just the absence of drugs. Do some reading on how to work with your body. She was making really deep sounds, which is perfect. Read Ina May's Guide to Childbirth and good luck with your birth!

  • "im due june 4th and this is my first child!!!"

    Congratulations!

I recommend you sig up with facebook if you haven't already, then check out my also my 'Vaccination Information Network'. Vaccines are useless and dangerous. Also check out 'birthing positions'' and 'premature vs delayed cord cutting' on the internet and my facebook page 'Childbirth Information Network."

    All the best! :)

  • OMG im due june 4th too!!

  • WTF, "Video honey, no cursing", no offense, I'm sure your husband meant well but you're preparing to have a baby be naturally pushed out of your body, if you want to ******* curse & scream, you have all right to lol Screw the camera!

  • trust me i know, and thankfully not hubby just daddy lol

  • those two fools needed to get the hell out. where was the support?

  • i had none, my mom was a wreck, and my sons father and his father were making fun of me most of the time, and when they weren't ... THEY WERE SLEEPING!!! yah! they left me alone to go home and 10 minutes l8r my water broke!

  • r u still in a relationship with the unsupportive father? sorry if im being personal..

  • no... lol nope

  • Well done, dont know how you did it with husband and father in law just sitting there laughing and whistling when your lying in pain, felt awful watching it.

  • i swear i wanted to kill them, thank you! =)

  • Squatting would have been more effective but congrats on the natural birth you are an inspiration to many women on here. God bless.

  • i soooooo wanted to get up and move and the nurses wouldn't let me move, i was soooooooooooooooo mad

  • "the nurses wouldn't let me move"

That's why an ncreasing number of women opt for home births. Some of them even ot for an unassisted birth - no midwife - they deliver the baby themselves. A few even go for outdoor births, e.g. in the ocean!

  • Really? In the ocean? That seems a bit too natural (and especially dangerous) to me... I believe it though.

  • "In the ocean? That seems a bit too natural (and especially dangerous"

I think it's ok, but I would make sure that the water is warm and that htere are no sharks which could get attracted by the blood. In one case a mother who gave birth in the ocean had a doctor waiting behind a rock in case she needed one.

Wild animals all give birth outdoors and don't seem to have any problems.

  • I imagine that there are probably more animals that die at birth than there are humans, in terms of ratio. But I don't really know. Either way, if someone can have a baby safely in the ocean, go for it. I never would!

  • "I never would!"

It sounds cool to me! - literally and figuratively. I guess that if I was a woman, I would have a homebirth first, then an unassisted homebirth, then have my third in the ocean, or somewhere else out in nature, even if it's only out in the garden.

  • To each his own!

  • "To each his own!"

For sure. In my case, being male, it's a choice I'll never have to make. In some ways I feel deprived for never being able to give birth, but really I'm quite happy to leave the childbirth thing up to you ladies!

  • "there are probably more animals that die at birth than humans,"

Maybe, but I doubt it. I assume that in wild animals, it's such a natural event that rarely anything would go wrong. It's different with domestic animals like cows, or with people.

  • Well done!!! However, lying on one's back is by far the worst birthing position. Lying on one's side is better, but crouching on hands and knees, squatting, and standing are even better positions to give birth in, as the baby's descent is assisted by gravity. Water birth is excellent as it allows freedom of movement.

  • yeah this hospital was just like my first, they practically tied me down... bleh

  • damn he's a big one

  • lol he was tiny lol he's huge now tho lol

  • You are a stronger woman than me. Once I hit 4 cm I was so ready for the epidural.

  • lol i used to think that maybe i shouldve opted for it, im scared of drugs ( alergic to acetaminophen ) so everything scares me lol

  • LOL! that's me too. i'm due any day with my fifth child.....did not have an epidural w/ any of them except one pregnancy where I was having a lot of health issues that resulted in a thyroidectomy when i was 7 months preggo. by the time it was time for me to have her i just did not want to feel any more pain. I hated the epidural and I plan to go natural again this time...... epidurals just scare me.

  • Sorry, I would of cussed him out (both of them) and kicked the father-in-law out...but still, you have a wonderful and beautiful baby...men will never know what we have to endure with childbirth.

  • thank you and yeah i did cuss them out, then when baby was born father in law wanted to hold baby like immediately... i about killed him!!!

  • you did awesome but it broke my heart to see that you had NO support. everybody was just watching you like a piece of meat, making jokes, laughing. aweful! you should have been supported and celebrated cause you are a birth warrior! your son is supersupercute! you did awesome and can be proud of yourself! Iris

  • aww hes so cute!

  • =) thank you!!!

  • I would have SLAPPED my husband and father in law if they acted like that....

  • i wanted to, luckily, we were never married lol

  • what a supportive dad and husbald!! He is just laughing and doesn' t help her to go through the pain....

  • i know he totally sucked

  • Sweet video. But your husband and his father have no idea how painful labor really is. It's not funny.Anyway the baby is beautiful like his mommy. God Bless!

  • yeah, it really sucked, he did anyway, if i could do it over, he wouldn't be there

  • dumb stupid jk excited i bet good luck

  • Awee that was beautiful

  • thank you

  • Your children are beautiful! Congratulations!

  • thank you

  • I can't get over all the vids of people laying flat on their backs for labor. No wonder it hurts so bad! If you'd had a doula, she would have been able to help you get into positions to make it less painful. Even lying on your side or sitting on a ball would really help. Next time tell your DH to actually HELP YOU instead of directing you in a video!!! Better yet, get a doula, and leave your DH in the hallway. I'm sorry, but him laughing makes me sick. Congrats on your baby, though!
