ALSO in my opinion Mephiles is also a badass cause he is the ONLY SONIC VILLAIN to actually, spoilers, KILL sonic. Shadow's new voice if more raspy. Before Shadow's voice sounded a little different now it's sort of breathy and He works for G.U.N and He even swears uses armory and says show off things 1:51.

@hurricanesofhell Your forgetting one key thing. EVERY hero has badass lines at some point in their games. As for the voice thing that IS what makes some people like certain characters...... except this games voice for OMEGA the other versions of OMEGAs' voice were far better than this version.

@KlonoaJFan Shadows side was originally not known he just wanted to destroy the earth for revenge for maria and sided with eggman and eventually both eggman and sonics side came together. After shadow had (presumably)died in the ending of sonic adventure 2 battle he had a more rival appearance in sonic heros like he isn't for sonic but he'll help. In Sonic the hedgehog he's working for G.U.N after discovering all the secrets he has learned from "Shadow the Hedgehog" the game.

@KlonoaJFan I just think of Shadow as a anti-hero now it's sort of cool in a way how he's somewhat heroic and works for G.U.N but he seems so different from sonic adventure 2 battle and like now shadows meaning is to say cool lines 1:51 and gain the hearts of fans like you.

@PKIvysaur The rings merely LIMIT Shadow's access to the powers of chaos. If they come off his power increases, if I remember correctly, 100 fold but makes him get tired quickly after due to the major energy usage.
