  • Nice mate.done berny proud!

  • whats's the chord on the main riff?:-)

  • As a guitarist myself and fan of Joy Division having seen them several times back in the late 70's you really have nipped this one in the bud, well played

  • This is quite good. I'm impressed. I'm just a bit confused though? Doesn't Peter Hook also play the open D-string along with the melody on G?

  • @rldaniels95 Yup, he does.

  • Great cover!

  • Great cover mate, could I please have the chords used in the guitar parts. Thanks a lot.

  • The chords are the same through the whole song. G, A, A#, C, D. G, A, A#, A . On the verse lift up your finger and play open e&a in between chord changes. I use muted Power chord down strokes when theres vocals & up/down Bar chords when no vocals. The chorus is same chords played using open chords and adding little finger 3rd fret on the D. Listen for the timing and rhythms.

  • keep up the good work fella

  • Thx

  • impresive well done

  • I love Girls against Boys version of Shes Lost Control way better but you still to amazing covers!!

  • Finally, the X-Box version. Or Lunch Box Version [ non toxic, especially for the little kids].

  • yeah but it still burns tho'

  • Great cover!

  • Great cover man.

  • good playing all round, but that electric sounding drum loop does my head in! try replacing them with some more 'refurbished' midi drums in some sequencer like cubase or something

    keep up the good work!

  • yeah your right about the drums, it sounds abit weak compared to the original, i will look into using cubase for drums. thx

  • the vocals are actually pretty good, except for the very begining you dont rreally start on the right beat but otherwise its great

youve got the guitar part perfect, what are you using to get that sound?

  • thx, this one did come up quite well. I'm using Boss GT8, its quite good for the price. Pro Crunch Amp Sim, bit of Delay and Reverb. The EQ on a mid boost, i think really makes the difference for the JD sound.

  • awesome!

  • Holy crap, your good. You sound exactly like Joy Division O_O

  • Thanks dude, i was planning to make a joy division covers band, ain't got a singer whos up for it yet but if a joy division fan thinks it sounds like them, then i know i am on the right track so far. Peace

  • You really have mastered Joy Division. I will get to posting more of it, but it won't sound as good as yours... Great collection of JD songs you have posted.
