Folks, I just got an email this morning informing me that the Cherryholmes family is retiring. :(
They are in Troy, NC this weekend, 1/23/11 and that is their next to last show in NC. If you get a chance to see them this year on their farewell tour, please do so as this family has the best live act in the industry. They will be missed and its a terrible loss to the Bluegrass community. Good luck to the 'First Family of Bluegrass music' the Cherryholmes.

Yeah, Champs, it's a serious drag that they're hanging it up as a group. But think how cool the reunion tour will be in five to seven years!
