I believe it is suppose to be, but mine was not, i just had the MEGABOOK on the back and it lights up when the Laptop is on. i think it just depends on the model, i would give them a call and ask them about that

not anymore due to the fact this laptop is over 3 years old, i just finished building my PC now. youll have to check but for the price i paid, all the new computers for the price i paid are better, hell you can pick up a 800$ lappy thats better then this, i would rank this computer now at a 500$ like high 400$

ive gotten it to 200 degs F, (waaay to hot for a laptop) that was on starcraft 2 before the fix where they calmed down the FPS so computers didnt over heat, but it never shutoff or anything, still working just fine. i recommend with anylaptop just add atric ice CPU grease if your willing to open up the computer. But over no overheating. it does get hot on the laptop while playing (under load like at 170degs) but thats normal. Going with a desktop now tho. still have the laptop

@naz2x no they wont, message me on here, what drivers are you looking to update, i dropped the Display drivers for the nvidia awhile ago, those were soo bad. been using modified drivers and gained at least 20-30fps from dropping the old drivers for the video, send me a message on here and ill see if i can help you

its ok well it does great still, umm on COD4 i was able to run on high settings No AA and it ran with a little lag, i run middle always (cause of temp and etc) and no lag at all =D it s a good card, im actually in the market now for a desktop so i can upgrade when ever i want, like when i want a new card i can use it, only downside of laptops for the most part is upgradability

computer started right up correctly, the mic didnt work right away had to install and reinstall MIC drivers like 3 times to get it to work and they had to mess with settings for the mic settings

there WERE some instances where the Computer Build thing they had would let you put say the wrong motherboard with the wrong processor and etc, but they had fixed that since then. order from them, check to make sure you have everything if your worrying, i did and i had everything

its holding up well :) i use it everyday, and game with it mostly everyday. just had to redo my heatsink grease and that was all ive had done with this. its a great laptop. runs games on med-high great, im jealous no joke, if you get that computer ill be jealous, .13ghz more and a little better graphics card lol! its a great company, there are some bad ones that get out, but they ship them back and fix it lol :P

theres only one thing i regret from cyberpowerpc, and that is i shoulda waited 3 months... lol to get the newer badass gaming laptop that was 3 hundred cheaper and would out play mine with ease haha! its still a great comp, i do not regret anything from cyberpowerpc, i may be making another purchase in the upcoming months after i wrx swap my car

um, the heatsink wasnt properly done to the processor, so i had to redo that, was wondering why it was getting warm unusually, and the graphics driver was a little old for some of the games, i redid it and runs like a beast again. im assuming your looking to get one? a cyberpowerpc?

8600m gt is weak for gaming. what was wrong with off the shelve gameing laptops from BestBuy? Asus and gateway's FX gaming laptops are the bang for buck.

it preformed very well against my friends 7800GT or 7900GT or GS on his desktop. also matched against the 8800GT of course i didnt win, but i wasnt horribly behind. mine at least preforms pretty well. i was shocked. i under paid for this laptop i think.. i love this beast

Building your own pc is the best option to save money and to know everything from start to finish.

Ordering a pc from cpc is risky, if things fail you'll have to go through horrible customer service and probably have to RMA it.

man their stuff seems pretty legit but ive heard so many bad thing about them as well. i dont know too much about computers but i am about to purchase from their site. im stuck between getting a laptop or a desktop. my budget is about 800 dollars. would i beable to get an above average PC from that site at that price? ok, not sure if you got my other 2, but its not apearing so idk. anyways dont go with the laptop. i love mines but i found 1 major problem.. nonupgradeable except for ram. and for you only spending 800 bucks.your not going to get what you want. buy a desktop, you'll thank me on it. laptops run to hot,if you read my below comment, i had to buy a $100cooling pad for mine.The desktops are cheaper and you get more, they can be upgraded easy.its easy to learn if you dont know how, ask me for help

btw wat u where saying bout running cod4 at 91 fps. its because its maxed out. try typing in console /com_maxfps 250. it should go up and you probably have a default config which will drop your fps

its a great laptop, The noise isnt much, pretty quiet, the heat, there is some heat of course, but keeps its self pretty cool, i use a Nzxt laptop cooler, $80. The only driver issue i had was the video card. i would act weird on cod4 only and any newer game, i went and downloaded and modified driver and fixed it. stability of the os is well. stable lol after the service pack 1 it runs fine. battery life is like 2 hrs. (normal) it runs cod4 on med graphic's at 91 fps (quite nice)

hmm i have the 8700m gt and its not that much better bbut i can run cod4 maxed out with 80 fps (no anti aliasing) using 174.74 drivers and everything on my video card settings are set to high performance so this may help if you havent already done it and wanna get better graphics
