The crowd is fucking hideous. when they were here in NY, they loved the crowd reaction, we were calling for dir en grey even before the opening band started. These people aren't worthy of their remarkable talent. Dont get why festival equipment always sucks for them. Great band, shit people.

That so called "crap" in the middle happens to be a song by Iron Maiden called Prowler and the reason why they performed it is due to the fact that they were not only at the same festival with Iron Maiden, but more than likely they were influenced by them as well. The reason why the crowd is dead is because it was early in the day and the crowd was probably hungover from the night before; didn't know who Dir en grey were; or simply not interested in the band.

I don't really understand how it could get "weird" other than when they played "Agitated Screams of Maggots -unplugged-" which was just Kyo, the vocalist doing his thing for a bit. But I can understand, I agree with Slushofield. They're an experimental band so their songs vary and for some people the songs are their taste, other songs, not so much.
