This video gave me hope in myself again. I'm an aspiring singer/songwriter and I had writers block, I was afraid maybe I was losing it, but the way you explained how you write and it reminded me that there doesn't need to be pressure behind what I do. It's music and it's what I was born to do. and all this noise about who's good and who's bad in music and I second guessed myself if I was really good, but your video made me realize. I am me and I do anything else.
These are just MY opinions...can't I have them...can't I comment in an honest manner without a evil intent...I've always just been a straight up shooter...if all you fellow over weight girls don't like my opinion...let it go...I have a right to give my opinion...just by posting a video you are ASKING for that opinion...can you imagine in our daily lives if what we did had an anonymous comment button?? I was struck by the "Friday Plague" and was disgusted by the song and the voice at first. But when I saw her sing the Anthem I saw that she was actually pretty frikin good, just the song didn't fit her well so it ruined her voice a bit.

The only thing (and I'm not a prude) that could have made this video better, would have been no bad words, but cause your argument is SO strong... sometimes I feel like bad words weaken an argument. This still doesn't change how I feel about Rebecca Black. In honest I could careless for any teen trying to make it big...your points are...great but really, if Rebecca Black was serious about singing she would of came out with a better song then Friday. In fact, I know most singers don't all have amazing songs but at least when they came out they had great songs that caught people's attention. Rebecca Black is just...bleh...and that's all I have to say on the matter.

People are starting to step way over the line with their hate. It's getting truly disgusting at to the point they need to look in the mirror and ask who the hell they are to judge the way they do. I dislike =Rebecca Black and her music intensely. However to even try to blame a 13 year old who probably only made the video because of her parents is unfair. I've seen the video of her trying to explain Friday as a deep and meaningful song and it just seems like a desperate attempt to get people from saying it's shit. Music is music and if people don't like your music then that's up to them but to hate someone because of their music is pathetic.

I hate Rebecca's song. Not because she stinks, because she doesn't, but because the song wasn't written by her. I bet she could write better lyrics than that fat Usher, who's been ruining a lot of teenage girls' lives by making them sing the crappy music that he makes to get a quick buck. If that's what music has been made to be, nothing but Autotune where it's not needed and an easy way of getting money, I'm not gonna listen to that kind of music. It's sickening.

I was struck by the "Friday Plague" and was disgusted by the song and the voice at first. But when I saw her sing the Anthem I saw that she was actually pretty frikin good, just the song didn't fit her well so it ruined her voice a bit.
The thing that gets me though is that these young child stars just seemingly pop up out of nowhere and instantly get fame (Not everyone of course) but then there's people who try so hard with all their heart and get denied. It doesn't make sense to me :/
