I think this serves more as a docummented version of how the song was created. IMHO Halo was a very hard song to put together and I don't think these choruses clicked right with the rest of the song (obviously, people who haven't heard the song off the album won't give a shit), and I definitely prefer the final version, it sounds more epic to me, regarding songwriting.

Needless to say, Machine Head OWN all the other fucking bands out there! Thanks for this piece of history, dude!
