Thanks for making the videos. It really helps to see and hear about other peoples experiences! I'm on 40 mgs. twice a day (total 80 mgs. per day)

I started at that dosage, and I am on my last month now of 80 mgs. a day. My dermatologist is having me take a 6 month course of Accutane (Claravis) cus' he thinks acne has a better chance of going away and staying clear on a six mo. treatment. My acne wasn't that bad, but it's been persistant for years. We tried other things, but Accutane rocks!!!

I didnt use one i just washed my face day and night and sometimes in the middle of the day with regular dove soup

My derm told me to use either cetephil or cer-ve. Both work really well... Cer-ve is kind of hard to find though, the only place I've been able to find it is Wal-greens.

i dont have ALOT of acne

but i fucking ALWAYS have at least 3 PIMPLEs

the second they clear up i get 2-4 more sometimes more

idk if i should try accutane... i did try like everything else but it just made my face like red as fuck so i stoped using everything. i

still have some redness on the sides of my nose for some reason!! it annoying as fuck

i'm on accutane and at the end of my 2nd month and i haven't really had dry eyes (i wear contacts all day too). I've had a few nose bleeds, photosensitive skin, dry, chapped, and sunburned lips, wierd skin lesions all over my torso and neck once in a while, pretty common symptoms. I've been doing recreational drugs too (weed, shrooms, alcohol) and so far i don't think they've affected the acne or accutane so that's good too. Accutane is hella awesome though i lost all my cysts already.

My doctor said that moiturizing chapstick works so I'll give that a try. I always use chapstick before I was prescribed accutane so I hope it shouldn't be much of a problem.

yea same here all my acne is gone but the scars are still there it doesnt help fade the scars and they really annoy me so i wuld say no accutane doesnt help fade scars (what a drawback)

ya i was the same i didnt want to take creams and stuff so when my doctor was talking i asked him about accutane and he started to talk about it and i just ask him for it and told him that i really dont want to take anything else and he did give it to me

hey what do you say to your dermotologist to get accutane, i was on tetracyclyn antibiotic for 6 months, i went to see my dermotologist because it had no effect on my acne so she gave me another antibiatic for 1 month and then she said if it dont help i will have to take another antibiotic and if the other one dont help then she will give me accutane, my acne is like yours when you started the treatment its fucking annoying and depressing lol

Good for you man. My dermatologist gave me 20mg for my first month and i just started my second month with 40mg. He said he might put me on 80 next month but im pretty scared cuz my skin will be sucked dry! But so far i havent really seen a difference in my acne.
