I know he only broke his back in the comics, but Nolan has made a much darker series and has shown that he is willing to kill major characters in the past. But only bruce wayne will die, because "As bruce wayne, [he] is a man, he can be beaten up and killed." But Batman will live forever, as someone else will take his place.

I was one of the few people who was a little bit disappointed with The Dark Knight, so I hope Nolan ends the series on a high with this one. Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon Levitt are both in it though so I'll be stunned if it isn't brilliant.

The problem with this movie and any to follow in its foot steps is all villians will now be held in comparison to the Epic performance of Heath Ledger as the Joker. who the hell thinks they can follow that?? I wish this movie had been called "Gotham Dawn" as in, "the night is dark as just before the dawn." I also CANNOT BELIEVE they have the nerve to do a Batman movie with the Catwoman in it. The movie "Batman Returns" starring Michael Keaton had the BEST Catwoman ever. I don't care who you cast, the new one can never amount to the old. Also... well in my opinion nolans batman has lots of flaws, but i will say it is the better film adaptions of batman. One problem i hate about nolan is his fetish for realism, but oh well another one is how kinda dumb nolan made bruce wayne his other name is the worlds greatest detectives and he makes most of his gadgets, but nor is he the best detective in nolans story and morgan freemen basically became the "Q" from 007 stories where he just invents stuff
