Thanks for this - Im off to the NYPalace in October this year! I did a lot of research on tripadvisor for hotels and this hotel came out at no. 4 for best New York Hotels!
Hope I have made the right choice as we previously stayed in the Sofitel which was great!
fabelours hotel room. nice high rise views of buildings near by... fantastic large room but the downside is that dreadfull mirror in the bedroom cabinet.. looks like a cementary grandpas funeral cabinet but the rest of the furniture.. table and lamp and plasma all fantastic and rich value.. Not sure about the lines on the carpet of that room. If it does feel confortable and soft then its value. At that price 280 i could get a apartment hotel with self contain separate bedroom and kihine.
Been awhile since I've done the corporate rate hotel circuit. Thinking in terms of personal travel, I can't see that particular room being worth $280.00 but I guess that's NYC for you.
I stayed at the NY Palace in 1999. I was in room 3406.

i really wish this hotel wasn't so expensive! i'll be there for about a week.
best rate $749 a night, depressing </3 not that anywhere else is much cheaper in nyc aha. it's a beautiful looking hotel though.

Lol my cousin is a manager in this hotel and i stay here some times for free. (although i have a house here too)

I stayed like a few rooms down from that! I love new york and the palace hotel is awesome.

ha for $100 i got the smallest room in the world with no bathroom. it had shared bathrooms . Thats nyc
