@1m6 If you need URL's for Michael Jr., I have several, Utube & others. He was featured in a PBS special program over a decade ago & he made several albums during his star years in Europe. He was the protege of singer Helmut Lotti, who incorporated him in his professional appearances for a year or so. Even at age 12, the boy had a voice nearly as full & powerful as Lotti. I suspect that was the reason Lotti had to sever the professional relationship. Cimarron
@simsimcimarron1 If you can PM me the URLs I would be very grateful. :) I love listening to this kind of music especially of those really exceptional talent like Adam.
The Utube Michael vids have been deleted. Try Myspace for Michael Junior Vids, Utube wont allow references to other URL's here, apparently. Simsimcimarron1
@1m6 Well I was wrong, wasn't I? on Utube, do a search for Michael Verschuere & you will find some of his vids which are still active. Good luck. Lots on myspace too. Can also do an address bar search for that name & you fill find lots of references for him. He even has a website but don't know if I have it. He was a superb boy alto or whatever it is called, maybe high tenor. Had & still has great timing, presence, perfect passaggio & transition. He could be great again with proper help
@1m6 And for another great boy voice from the past (2001), a truly outstanding 12 yr. old who was hands down the best young male vocalist ever, look up Michael Verschuere, known professionally as Michael Jr. I think he is still singing but of course after his voice changed he lost his cachet of precociousness. The last I have heard of his voice, he now has a fine, rich baritone & still has great stage presence. He just needs a good agent. He should come to America. Cimarron
This is so lovely! I'm so captivated by the pureness of their voices and the dark background with the nice yellow glow make it so hauntingly lovely!! :D :D
I saw this song sung live in California in Palm Springs 2009, the soloist was Ed Day, (I was in the fromt row) he was every bit as good as Adam and you could see he was not lip syincing. Very good indeed. Having said that, I still think Adam is one of Libera's best.
To murkskisXXL, no need for an apology, I know you didn't do it. Libera has made available other vids showing a recent group of choir boys but having the music and voices of an earlier group. It's misleading. If you will look closely, the mouth movements of the boys do not sync with the words well. I could be wrong, but to my practiced ear, the music and soloist are from the Libera 1999 album titled Libera. If it is not Adam Harris' voice, then Prizeman is even better than I thought.
Give credit where credit is due. The soloist on this video is Adam Harris from the year 1999 or thereabouts, who was quite possibly the finest Libera soloist ever, hard to say for they have had several good ones. Adam didn't get the solo parts or video exposure he deserved. It's very disturbing and misleading when a video is shown with another voice dubbed over. There will never be another treble voice as crystal pure as Adam's, so please stop the voice dubbing. Go Adam, you were the best!
@simsimcimarron1 Very true. Adam was a first-rate soloist. One of the best if not the best that Libera has ever produced. His voice was clear, powerful and soothing to the ear. Sadly for whatever reason he was underutilized and underrated.
@1m6 Glad to know others have a high opinion of Adam. In my busy routine, I forgot about this Youtube vid so when I logged on for this reply, I listened to it again. Adam or not, it is a beautiful arrangement and performance. Prizeman was (is) very talented, able to entice the best from his boys. It's sad & disappointing to know that most of these boys return to the mundane world of average mediocrity when they lose their treble voices. All the more reason to enjoy them. Cimarron
nice to see someone got confused with tom's and ben's voices.
i was addicted with do not stand at my grave the past month, ive been playing it like 10 times a day. and after a week, i think, i found out it was actually ben who sang it. ive always thought it was tom!:)

@simsimcimarron1 I'm sorry. I didn't know his voice was dubbed over in this video. Though I can't see him in the video (I'm confused a bit).
I agree that he was really good soloist. For example, there is very good Lux Aeterna version by Adam Harris on Youtube.
