Odd how they have long straight red hair but the skeletal structure most resembles that of the gorilla, also notice the round eye sockets that are relatively closer to each other than most other primates.

Nah orangutans have quite a different skeletal structure relative to the great apes of Africa like the chimp or gorilla. Orangutans spend nearly all their time in the trees while silverbacks for example spend most of their time on the ground.
