Sorry to hear that, what ink are you using? I usually use a water based block printing ink. My best guess is that you have far to much ink on the plate. for an A4 size print you need only a toothpaste amount (maybe a little more, but less is more in monoprint). roll out the ink as thin as you dare and try again. it is best to use light paper as well.

well it was interesting to me. I'm new to monoprints.
And he's showing us the extent of what can be done using monoprints. I don't think it was artsy fartsy at all.
