  • I am glad I still have many of the episodes on VHS!

  • Forsythe really was amazing in this role as he is in all the parts he plays! Wish I had enough money on me to get all the movies and TV shows he has been in. This show was really awsome too! So sad it has never come out on DVD!

  • Let's call Paramount to relesae on DVD. Forsythe is AMAZING!!!!

  • William Forsythe plays Al Capone here - but now he's on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" as Manny Horowitz, the Jewish butcher - and Al Capone is a character on that show played by someone else! Stephen Graham. As of this comment, in the lastest episode, they tried to whack Manny but he put a butcher's cleaver in the assassin's skull. Whether he plays Al Capone or Manny, he's Badass with a capital B.

  • "I got four kids, ten grandkids, and I'm gonna get to see them all grow up."

Couldn't have been more obvious if they'd slapped a gigantic "DOOMED" sticker over the screen.

  • this was sad, the guy was leaving the business, he had kids, and grandchildren. and had a lot of money. and he died violently by being shot, though he was not the target. Al should kill the people responsible, with just as much force.

  • This was based upon when Al was eating lunch a group of cars drove by the restaurant, and guns were fired at the place, als body guard pushed him to the ground, and then realizing this was just a decoy, kept al down, then another group of cars drove by with guns actually firing live ammunition at the place. Then one of the guys in the car got out, and went to the doorway, and shot the place up., then hurriedly left the scene.

  • William Forsythe is so not Al Capone!

  • @SeanConnery9000 I thought he was great. Watch the interviews with William Forsythe about the character and how he researched the role.

  • so this is what the SNES game was based on. cool.

  • the movie is better

  • I wish they would release this show on DVD. I'm sure there are many that would agree with me.

  • @TxJrnyFan1286 Absolutely! I have four or so eps recorded, but no more. Its sad that such a great show only survives in cruddy quality like this now, but at least it somewhat survives. I'd LOVE to see this on DVD, or else have us few fans combine our recordings to share it!

  • He always plays a great mobster! great actor!

  • William Forsythe is an EXCELLENT actor,

he plays the role of Capone very well.

    Thank you for posting footage.

  • You know, I completely disagree with regards to Forsythe as Capone - I think he's amazing in the role.

But I'm not overly fond of Amandes as Ness. I have no idea why, but something about him just strikes me as off.

Although, IMHO he's worlds better than Robert Stack in the 1950s series. They couldn't have gotten Ness' personality more off if they tried!

Heh, well I'm picky about Ness in media. :p But I think Forsythe is brilliant.

  • Please De Niro wish he was Forsythe as Capone.

  • I've went on the untouchables tour at chicago it's really cool.
