Why are so many objecting to the horror direction they took for this? Maze Runner would have to have major horror elements: waking up in the box, no idea whats going on, big freaky machine monster thingies that make weird noise. It is a HORROR set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian future setting.

So at the end of the 3rd book when they go to the paradise through the flat trans, it says Brenda knew exactly what to do to close the flat trans. And Thomas even asked himself how'd she know that. So is it possible that Brenda was still working for WICKED all along? I think it's possible because Brenda said not to trust anyone besides her and chancellor Paige. So maybe she was planning the entire thing with the chancellor? What do you guys think?
