The V3xx uses standard MP3's for ring tones (as well as midi). So it doesnt require any special software. The only catch is they have to be less than 30 seconds, and under 250KB in size. So any software that can edit MP3's can be used. I used quicktime pro, because it takes all of 30 seconds to edit them. Then I just use bluetooth to transfer them over.
Neither. WMV is a Microsoft format. I use Final Cut. They are encoded as an H.264 in a .mov wrapper. Technically wmv and avi are just wrappers as well, not formats.
ur video doesnt look any different..soo i dont think it worked...an one day youll be as cool as me an have a family guy/inspector gaget ring tone hahahaha
I edit them for length via Quicktime Pro. Then I use iTunes to convert them to an MP3 (Quicktime saves as an AAC). Then just transfer it via bluetooth. And yes, they sound really good. This phone has a surprisingly good speaker.
i have the final fantasy victory theme as my message tone, i used to use the one off 7 but now i use the one off 6 :)

lol, I can put most any ring tone that I want on it. Any MP3 that is under the file size limit will work.

Yep, I've done this experiment too. It looked very much the same as yours does here.
And cool ringtones. Why do they make me think of the theme to McGuyver?
