  • 6 point roll bar in the Chevelle?

  • i love the chevelle as i am a chevy guy but i tell you what if these 2 lined up on the street heads up for money i would have to take the talon.

  • fucken dumb ass dont even show how many second the talon runs. He only show the chevelle ss. I bet the talon won the chevelle ss.

  • I am more impressed by the fucking Mitsu/Eagle, I've seen plenty of big block muscle cars running in low 10's but the little Japanese car is really impressive!

  • @Lukeentertainment actually its not a jap car. its a eagle which is good ole american made.

  • @BLACKLACDTS It was made during the time when Chrysler bought all their designs and ideas from Mitsubishi, it is based on the 2nd gen Eclipse, just like the Dodge Stratus is based on the 3rd gen Eclipse. And like the Stealth is based on the 3000gt.

  • @Lukeentertainment it was more of a joint venture between the 2. anyway ythe talon, eclipse, laser were all cool cars imo.

  • GOd I just love this video. When that thing takes off... omg it's the most sexiest noise of all time. My dad has a 71 Chevelle SS with a 454 and a few mods, makes 520 hp to the flywheel. Just when you open the doors you can feel the true weight of those cars, a real metal machine. And when he pushes down the accelerator... you would just have to hear and ride in it to understand. And I own a Honda and used to hate muscle cars... until my pappy bought that beast, I love it.

  • Im tired of import owners always say all older american classics get terrible gas mileage that is not entirely true because my 1988 iroc z with a modded 350 gets about 24 mpg and how they think that a v8 sound sounds terrible compared to a fart cannon or a pissed off bumble bee

  • Plymouth laser on stock tire ... gotta love AWD :)

  • Real cool Chevelle, i got a -70 ss / 582 Shafiroff engine and think that rice burers sonds like shit. u cant compere them whith those oldtimers.Think about 1970....no car in the world would look so good like a american muscle car.THANK YOU AMERICA WE LOVE YOU!! / Greaings from Sweden

  • hmmm got torque?

  • greatest muscle car ever or even greatest of all

  • Epic

  • that is chevelle power for ya.

  • What a fuckin mack daddy chevelle. Jesus would even bow to that shit. Amen.

  • Comment removed

  • This car has run 9.96 at 133 MPH...that is an incredible old car...

  • Shity ass 4 cyls

  • @koid3ath14 dat just beat ur "big" v8

  • @krayziebonejr Dude, the win light came on in the Malibu's lane...check it out...

  • @Lochinvar111 i dnt giv a fuk niqqa da 4 banger almost beat ur rust bucket DSM 4 life

  • @krayziebonejr Sheesh, flunked grade three spelling did you? And the old Chevelle with it's forty year old technology still defeated the new rice rocket with all it's new whiz bang equipment didn't it....DIDN"T IT!!! You all know what lane the win light came on for, quit talking garbage and face the truth here....That Chevelle will not beat all new cars or all four cylinders, but it certainly won that race....What exactly is a niqqu...Another example of terrible spelling?

  • @krayziebonejr Almost? Not really bro. Half a second in drag racing isn't really that close.

  • i bet that v8 guy got a shock, hahaha and most likely was impressed, good effort by the talon,,it took v8s 40+ years to get where they are now and only 10 for the 4 bangers to get same performance numbers,,but that sound i dont think will ever be matched,,hahah lumpy v8 just is music to my ears

  • @nooki1102 4 cyl engines have been around a long time and were in model t's.Technology in the past ten yrs have changed the entire performance world with better fuel injection, better machined parts,PCMs,ect.....performance is in the tuning not the engine size you fucking idiot.

  • @jasonnissan1 wow,,you really get upset fast,,settle grettle,, i meant that performance 4 pots have only really taken off and got really big numbers in the last ten years,,bum jocky,,have a conversation ,,not an argument

  • @nooki1102 my dad has a '30 Ford model a with a 4cyl... they've been around for a damn sight longer than 10 years.

  • I'll take the talon.

  • @madjimms your an idiot.

  • @ktmyamaha01 Its spelled "You're"

  • @madjimms its you tube. not a college essay... grammar nazi...

  • @ktmyamaha01 Well, you did call me an idiot....

  • @madjimms cuz why would you want a talon over a 69 chevelle???

  • @ktmyamaha01 Why would I want a old gas guzzling car? It sounds terrible.

  • @madjimms cuz its worth a lot, and faster than you pos talon. if you think THAT sounds terrible, than you know nothing about cars. thats how a 10 second car is supposed to sound.

  • @ktmyamaha01 You THINK its supposed to sound like that, doesn't mean it should... BTW rotaries & i4's are tearing up the 7-10 second range.....

  • @madjimms no, i know thats how its supposed to sound. its an aggressive cam profile, high displacement, and performance exhaust. and they "tear up" thanks to ridiculous amount of boost and will only last for a few runs till the crank tears out or a rod flies.

  • @ktmyamaha01 Wow, you don't know much about anything but big ugly american cars do you?

  • @madjimms look at 4 cyl thats running -10secs and tell me they're not running turbos or something

  • @ktmyamaha01 They half half as much displacement...1.6L's running 10's is much more respectable than 7.2L running 10's...

  • @madjimms but they have huge amounts of boost compared to a na v8. it'll take more work and money for a 1.6L to match a 7.2L in power. plus v8s just sound better and have more versatility.

  • @madjimms "respect" is subjective. I think you aren't taking into account that a Talon has a HUGE weight advantage between itself and the Chevelle (not to mention the aerodynamics between the two if you'd REALLY like to get technical). It's obvious you're partial towards your opinion, but while speed is speed - pulling those numbers naturally aspirated will always be more impressive regardless of the platform. Anyone can bolt a turbo on, slap forged pistons in the motor, and crank it up.

  • @DeltaElite121 & they do that with V8's just like the Chevelle....

  • @madjimms That's kind of a moot point considering any car in the 10 second range will not be getting efficient gas mileage (or why you'de even bother bringing that up). There's nothing "old" about that Chevelle outside of it's body which is probably not stock either. It sounds as it should so I really don't see what you're getting at.

  • @DeltaElite121 I don't like the sound of V8's... & the talon more than likely gets better mileage (BTW a street legal car should get good mileage)

  • @madjimms I seriously doubt that. My car is street legal and makes ~450HP at the flywheel. It does not get good gas mileage because that's not what it was built to do, and neither were these cars. The amount of cylinders is irrelevent when you get into that power range because the amount of fuel consumption needed is astronomically different. I know plenty of LSx powered cars that get better gas mileage than that talon.. I also know just as many that don't. It's all in how you build it.

  • @madjimms I run in the high 10's with my car and at 70 mph on the interstate it is turning at 3500 rpm because I don't have overdrive, and still I get 10 mpg. If I had overdrive it would do alot better. It is all about the setup.

  • @Monte1970SS that's actually not bad for 3500 RPM's. 4.56 gears?

  • @DeltaElite121 No, it has 3.73. They way to get that with a 1050 carb is the progressive linkage. I cruise on 2 barrels and after 25% throttle it starts to open all 4. If I didn't have that, yeah mpg would be more like gpm, LOL! What kind of car do you have, I see you say it makes 450hp to the flywheel, nice.

  • @Monte1970SS I have an 88 Camaro, actually. 3.42's, fresh 355 sitting a little under 10.5:1, Dart Iron Eagles 200cc heads, Comp XE274 with Harland 1.6 rollers, Edelbrock Airgap RPM intake, Quickfuel 750 Annular manual secondaries backed behind a TH350C with a 2500 lock-up. Finishing it up right now and I'll make a video of it, but it's not staying this way long. Bought a cam from Dan Crower for my 396 stroker build. I'll drive this for a bit first, though. Also have a 87 5.0 T-bird :P 351W soon!

  • @DeltaElite121 Nice! Good power for 355. Would like to see it when it is done.

  • @DeltaElite121 lol how much did all that cost for you?? i bought a chevy 350 out of a 71 chevelle ss 425 Hp motor and stage 2 shift kitted transmission the ratio is a bout 10.6:1 and i got it all for $175((:

  • shit sick chevelle..but i cant believe they spent money on that lil buger looking car ..thing is fast lol (green car)

  • That Chevelle is cool and I'm a muscle fan, but I gotta say a 10.7 out of a freaking TALON is pretty impressive. At least that guy isn't a ricer and is putting serious effort into getting his car faster. But, I'll still take the keys to the Chevelle over that Talon.

  • I think i just shit my pants hearing the chev rev. Chevelle all the way baby!

  • 2 ricers disliked this. Fags.

  • the 555 big block cant shake that little turbo 4.love it.nice run for both cars.

  • @MyHappyshit Cept talons can only do those runs for so long before something goes. A NA 555 is able to do runs all year round. Every guy I know that had a talon blew up the engine eventually.

  • @CyborgbobaFett what are you talking about.if you use good parts stay up with the mainice like all cars jap or not.my dsm was good to me it not that fast it got 380.0000 km befor i got rid of it.YOU GOT TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAR.

  • ya thats wut happens when u bring your imports to the tack u kids best stay home

  • Soo nice! I watch this daily.

  • you know what they say: "There's no re-placement for dis-placement"

  • When will people understand that you can make any car fast if you throw enough money at it. You can make a civic run 10's maybe even 9's but at the end of the day its still a civic. If compact economy cars are your thing that fine, pick the civic. if your thing is power houses then the chevelle is def the way to roll. it will cost you more to get started but you also have alot more to work with.

  • i just had an orgasm to that sound.

  • Damn good run on both ends. Chevelle tore down like a terror and the Stealth...nice sleeper!

  • Man, I'm just gone say some LAMFOJFENMF AHA before I watch this.. >_>; The little Ricer's so fixing to get fucked. Can't argue facts, and that is, Muscle fucking owns you

  • Anyone know what the quickest naturally aspirated no nitrous gas rice-engineered car out there is? I'd like to find out, but I bet it only runs 13s.

  • @gumper1986 nissan'snew 370x is a na v-6 and runs 13.7. The new mustang gt na runs a flat 13.0 All the ricers like to say, we do it with only 4 cyl,+ turbo, but put a turbo on a vette and the ricers are back to watching tail lights pull away. Theres no replacement for displacement and a fart can muffler on mommys hand me down econo rice turd is not a hot rod and never will be.

  • @meattube4u33 wrong, the 370Z runs low 13's and even high 12's if driven properly STOCK, and the replacement for displacement is called forced induction.

  • @nando937 the new 370z stock runs mid 13,s but the new mustang stock runs a flat 13.0 and for less money, also the 370 burns oil because of the steep valve angle and premature valve guide wear, same problem with the g 35 infinity, and im talking at about the 20k mile mark, now the gtr motor holds up but blows its tranny and the nissan warranty is void if you ever once have used the launch assist LOL japan quality continues to fail

  • @meattube4u33 wrong, the 370z runs low 13's go on and look it if you want, with a good driver there might be a chance of touching the 12's. Personally, I don't like Nissan but it's quality is like 1,000,000,000,000 times better than Ford.

  • @nando937 WRONG nissan quality SUCKS the 370z engine is known to burn oil at far less than the 60k mile mark due to premature valve guide wear from too steep a valve angle, the z engine has grown from 3.0 to 3.5 then 3.7 and the stingy nips have not widened the heads enough to keep the valve angle the same as the 3.0, also the gtr tranny SUCKS ask anyone who has one with a blown tranny with only 10k miles and nissan wont honor the warranty. My 1990 5.0 fox body mustang ran great with 250k miles

  • muscle beats import everytime lol

  • Look at the frame flex on the chevelle. The torque pulled the pavement right out from under the talon. :)

  • all muscle cars a only good for drag try doing drift or some other shit for once

  • @motherassdick we invented drifting, but didn't make it a sport because it was generally us just fucking around in parking lots. the importy guys took it as their own because they fail at being the best at draggin.

  • @motherassdick Apparently you don't get out much because you can make any car do anything with the right amount of knowledge and money.

  • @inspector13jjf mostly money lol

  • @zeppelin67637 LQTM yea.

  • BOTH AMERICAN LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yup tuners have to have nos and turbos and shit to even try to stand a chance against against muscle. my 68 chevelle has a 350 all motor pushing 700 hp to the rear wheels. i smoke tuners 24-7 in it on the street

  • Damn that Chevelle runs in the 10's and no cage.

  • dude i came, that dsm was atleast 35 psi haha aint shit when in the next lane is a BBC, they sad part is that dsm is maxed out whats urcompression man, 10,10.25, cant be much more ugh just think 13.5 alchol and u could run that time dragin that pile of shit behind u love ur heavy chevy i got a 73 laguna, ive had 70 71 but there all great, is that a hydralic roller, id think so if it was a street engine damn man soild that whore keep spankin that yellow ass, godbless america, jesus drives achevy

  • i was thinking to trade my coronet for a 300zx tt

  • Lol, you can't even hear the Talon. Chevelle FTW.

  • I Love America..

  • @erk409 patriotic fag

  • My comments are purely about what I prefer, and not about which is the best. So you import finatics can rest with ease and enjoy your preference. I simply rather drive a v8 that doesnt have to down-shift 500 gears, or wait on boost just to get past an 18 wheeler. My concern is why do importers mention something about a penis when you are talking about cars? Is it b/c imports huff a turbo and it reminds them of huffing other things? Nevermind. I dont want to know. Glad my car doesnt need to huff

  • wtf u talkin bout gbsons the only reason he even caught up was cuz the chevelle slowed down cuz the race was already over lol no tuner car is ever gonna beat a chevelle

  • That 10.7 Talon will smoke a lot of Chevelles. And Im saying that as a die hard GM guy too.

  • dang that talon was keepin up with the chevelle.

  • nice....

  • nice chevelle

  • nice Ride, very nice.

    love the Chevelle

  • eagle talon = 100% american shell with a mitsubishi engine. newer not turbo models were 100% american using the same engine as the dodge neon (420a) the bodys were complete shit, but the turbo ones ran pretty well. good race

  • chevelle even got off the line late. and still won

  • Damn that thing works like viagra. :D

  • DAMNATION! Dude...you can build a race car! What tranny are you running in that beast?

  • 6ss9 he's running a powerglide

  • DAMN!!!!!

  • Bad Ass Chevelle man. Gotta love the Chevy Power !!!

  • Mmm. Sounds rowdy as fuck!

  • 396 on roids??

  • That is a sweet ride, there's no two ways about it!

  • Correct you are! Was a 396 now it's a 555 pump gas big block. The new time slips this year are 9.40's! Changed cam, rear, pistons and ignition

  • ...looked like a 396 chevelle, or at least it was... until it became the monster it is now!

  • American Muscle baby!

  • That Chevelle sounds pissed <3

  • imports should try to do these kind of times without turbo's i bet can't. Nice chevy

  • hell yea. my buddy runs a 8 second quarter, with a 2000 sumthing trans am/firebird. That car is the shit. everything just comes off with those spring loaded wing nut things. has a 555big block NO turbo or supercharger or nitrous. Straight motor. V8 American muscle is always better then import. its funny, who tows the imports to the shop or dealer? american V8s.

  • @impalaccc Actually, some faggot in a Civic ran 9.something in his all motor Honda. I say faggot because it's not worth is, and afterall, it's a Civic. And I'm sorry, but 10.anything is amazing for a 2 liter 4 cylinder, especially when they can do that on a stock block. I want to see some American engineers try that one out, Mitsubishi produced these engines 20 years ago, the Americans still can't.

  • @tpumpiscmibicv power to weight ratio my friend, thats all it is.... old school muscle cars are sittin on full steel frames etc. I like both worlds and they both have strong points. I do not understand why people compare them.

  • @djenne08 Me neither dude, any car should be respected if it's quick and not shitty or the owner cut corners when it was built. A 10 second street car is fucking fast IMHO, who cares if it's a NA 8 cylinder or a boosted 4. I hate hearing V8 muscle is always better then import.

  • @tpumpiscmibicv Imports making big hp with a "stock block" is very simple. Imports have tiny short rods, very short stroke, and tiny pistons. In a nutshell, there's no weight in the engine to cause damage. So if you know much about rotating assy's, small engines arent that impressive. Weed eaters can rev 15,000 rpm. The thing is, imports dont make torque. In the same car, a 400hp 2.0 import will lose to a 400hp v8 b/c of torque. Camaros can click 9's stock block with less stress than imports.

  • @harlon2u In the same exact car, yes, you are right. And yes, it's harder to get torque out of a small engine. However, it's for that reason that we physically race, and not compare dyno sheets to compare who has the bigger penis. Because when you are on the street, and trying to merge but some asshole in a 400 HP V8 won't let you in, chances are a 400 AWHP DSM will have enough power for it's lighter shell to merge anyways.

  • @harlon2u Imports make torque like any motor does. It sounds like the only thing that matters to you is the 1/4 mile. There is more to driving than that. Honestly who cares how much power one car is making anyway as long as its making power and putting it down.

  • @kageryu311 Torque is the key word to your response. No, even built imports do NOT make low-end torque like a similar built v8. Thus is the only reason they can make similar numbers to a v8 in the 1/4. Simply because they can take off without severely overloading the tires. And yes, my response was about the 1/4, since the video is about a 1/4 mile race. About driving: My g/f's corolla does pretty good on a flat, straight road. But it doesnt have torque to climb mountains very well:)

  • @harlon2u Now you are generalizing that there aren't V8s that are made in the import world. You are a fucking idiot. And of course a 4 or 6 banger is not going to make the same amount of low end torque as a similar 8 cylinder. Bottom line I was saying is that all vehicles make torque. HP is a product of torque and without torque you can't make hp which makes you logic flawed.

    Thank you.

  • @kageryu311 Any gearhead knows what the slang term "an engine has no torque" means (you didnt because you are a bench racer). "No torque" means little or low torqued.

Most engine builders know that at app 5252 rpm, any given engine, torque and HP become the same thing. You cant have one without the other. I knew this already. Look who's calling ME a fucking idiot? By the way, a bench racer is someone who sits on a bench, reads mags and talks instead of actually building anything.

  • @harlon2u How do you know if I don't build anything? You are just a domestic loving douchebag who swings nuts about V8s. I own a Z06 and a Supra and both of my cars make good torque. My Supra makes 674 ft lbs to be exact. So as I said your logic is flawed about a car making little to no torque. And also for the cars i own that I don't work on I'm not a gearhead or claim to be. Some people actually have jobs that are more demanding than their cars.

  • @kageryu311 You got technical about a slang about "no torque". I wasnt even commenting to you, but the other person knew exactly what I was referring to.

You called me a fucking idiot and a nutswinger

Yes, you bragged on an import 6 cyl (how you catch traffic easily)

You say your car has 485 hp in your video...and 674 lbs ft of torque? you must have a big block chevy in it to make more torque than HP. Or you are not a very good liar. One or the other.

Hope to see you at the dragstrip!

  • @harlon2u A lot happens in 2 weeks. I made 485 to the wheels on the wastegate spring untuned. I have a boost controller hooked up and make more power that what was posted. I don't post my Supra dyno vids because I have nothing to prove. And I go to beech bend drag strip in bowling green, KY. I'll be there tomorrow in my Z06! :D

  • @harlon2u Also I love how you group together import owners like they all think alike and then discredit any accomplishment one makes. I bet you would be the same faggot who would talk shit about an import even when you get owned by one. I've met guys like you and they wouldn't face me after they lost. Give respect where respect is due.

  • @kageryu311 ..and who gives a shit if an import builds a v8? I am talking about weak-torqued 4-6 cyl IMPORT engines and you know it. My comment(s) are generally saying that small-engined imports arent shit without huffing a turbo and/or some sort of power-adder. Even with big hp numbers, having to wait on "boost" to catch up with normal traffic LOL. I saw a video of a so-called 900hp import that took 9 seconds to catch a minivan 50-75 feet away on an interstate. Now thats weak.

  • @harlon2u And I replied eariler with what do you expect from a small motor? For it to make 500hp with 1.6L N/A? Its a fucking 4 banger not a V8. And as for the comments on catching up with normal traffic, I have no problems catching up with traffic out of boost in my Supra. And most people who own 4 and 6 bangers don't want or claim to be the fastest mofos in the world, Its V8 nutswingers like you who always need to prove that and get all pissed off and talk about turbos when you lose.

    Good day

  • @kageryu311 I sense jealousy. Who was the fucktard cussing me, ranting how impressive baby engines are, etc etc? You were. You thought you'd try engine tech with me...another failure. And then, you wanted to sway from the subject. By the way, stupid ricer term "nutswinging". You are a wannabe bench racer. There's no need for me to prove anything when even you know not to go pissing a car like this chevelle or a new corvette off. You'd better stick with catching minivans. Swing on that nut.

  • @harlon2u Jealousy? What should I be jealous of. I own two awesome cars one import one domestic. And where in any of my comments did I rant about how impressive "baby engines" are? And how did I fail the whole tech thing? I refuted what you said about a small displacement motor making no torque. All motors make torque. You replied colorfully and I replied and so on. And finally how am I the bench racer when you were the only one who referenced videso and specs of cars?

    Hmmm....... <_<

  • @tpumpiscmibicv do you have a link? id like to see that. do you know how long the block lasted running 10's? was it a cast assembly? because thats VERY impressive, some might even say not possible without littering the track.

  • @availeblename He ran 10.12 at 140, on the original 98,000 mile short block. Nothing was replaced, not a piston, rod, not even a bearing.

  • @availeblename Actually, I do have the link from DSMTalk, however stupid Youtube won't let me post it :( go to StreetFire, and search for "Mike Rizzotti's 10 second Talon" and you will see the video.

  • @impalaccc LMAO you retard, imports are doing it with 4 less cylinders and a 555 CI engine is 9.1 liters, that Talon has 2.0... That is 7 less, You know nothing about cars broski...

That chevelle is mean, I'm not saying otherwise, but your comment was so dumb I spit my coffee all over my keyboard...

  • @impalaccc lol....2RZ-FE supercharged will do those times

  • @impalaccc muscle cars should try and do those times with 4 less cylinders and just 2 litres displacement .

  • @TheMugenboy on the 2 litres u also gota add, ported heads, oversise valves, cams, over sise tb, and the 30psi of bost, the nos, all the ignition goodies, and the mega sise fuel injectors, ohh and the rebuild every race.. of cose if u did that to the 555 6sec 1/4 might be a lil to much

  • @impalaccc I've seen a Honda S2K do it N/A. Although the weezy four cylinder was taken out and a 408 stroked LSX motor was currently residing under the hood. XD

  • @inspector13jjf if you take out the F20c out of a S2K and then you swap a chevy engine in it, you might be a redneck....

  • @nando937 I've ridden in S2K's before. They are nice agile cars. They just have no torque. Yea you can make a badass S2K while keeping the F20C but I'm guessing it's a lot cheaper to do it with a V8. IDK I've never done it. And there is no replacement for displacement. It's all about displacing air and guess what. Turbos and superchargers do just that. Displace air. Whether it be cubic inches or boost displacement rocks. \m/ (^_^) \m/

  • @inspector13jjf Red Star Motoring has the fastest S2k in the world and it still has the F20c :P that's my favorite car and it feels like that swap killed it, like the RB26 mustang, it just feels wrong

  • @nando937 S2K's are great cars. I personally wouldn't swap it as it's a sports car and I would use it as it was originally intended. A sports car. I love all cars and have the philosophy to each their own. I personally love V8's and RWD. Doesn't mean if I owned a AWD turbo 4 cylinder that I wouldn't appreciate it. I love my friends 300ZXTT. It's an amazing car, but I wouldn't trade my nitrous'd 5.0 for it though.

  • @impalaccc yea... you have give them credit for having half the cylinders... BOTH cars are respectable. don't go finding excuses to give the car you like more ... more credit. your biased approach makes you look dumb.

  • @impalaccc domestics should try to do this kind of times with smaller engines I bet they can't. My God what a jackass for saying such a stupid meaningless comment.

  • @nando937 the colbalt and the neon srt 4s ive seen drive to sa texas and drive home to corpus christi texas and run mid 10s there both domestics ?

  • @impalaccc dude i know alot of muscle cars the spray and who cares if someone runs turbo look up the na honda crx that runs 10s theres one for you

  • @impalaccc Uhm, last time I checked DSMs were manufactured in Illinois. And as much as I hate Honda's there's plenty all-motor hatches into the 10s.

  • @impalaccc not import...dsms were made in Illinois

  • @impalaccc there are naturally aspirated 2.2 sohc hondas in the 9's. i like v8s and everything, but there are fast imports whether you like them or not

  • @savagexhaley14 fully guted

  • @savagexhaley14 put a turbo or a supercharger or even just nos on the 555 and ull have a 1000hp.... that 555 hade nothin like that on it, maby dual carbs and a set of heads- maby. so u can make a japcrap 4 keep up with a stock 555 if u put tons into it

  • That Chevelle is still a nice ass car tho, and must be a dream to drive! :)

  • This is an ALL steel(minus hood) 3700 lb car with low compression pistons running on pump gas no nitrous or boost of ANY kind with open exhaust and race slicks only , oh and theres no trans brake .this is a th400 that leaves off idle. by the way I got the car to run 9.71 @ 136 mph, still on Sunoco 93 in April 09

  • nice man, a friend of mine had a 64 nova that ran 10 seconds now hes got a 2000ish firebird that runs a 8.14. The firebird is alot lighter but probably cuz its all that fiberglass that comes off with those spring wingnut things. but very good time for a car that heavy bro!

  • 11.50s is a little different then 9.70s retard.

  • @chison11 hmmm import with 10k in engine vs stock engine... ur shot

  • I love my chevy <3

  • There will Never Be a Substitute for cubic inches!!! Put a Turbo in that Big Block and you would be running low 9's

  • I put a vacuum pump in it and with the cool temp, I ran 9.96 @ 133.97 mph on 93 octane

  • I got to admit thst was one fast import. if all 4bangers were like this it would be kool.

Put'n a cheap as $10 filter and a $20 muffler and calling your honda a racecar is ridiculously retarted. But yet there some dumbasses that still do it. kinda like voting for obama completly stupid!!

  • hahhaa true dat

  • old school is just waay effin cooler...

  • yea but their alot more money to build up

  • The Talon you respect, the Chevelle you fear!
