I believe that this kind of Black metal elements DO belong to Europe. I believe that they NEED to find some musical elements to make their own sound. (For example they can make up as chinese warriors and use asian elements(rather than vampires castles etc). Im sure they will be more dreadful with these. Because asian things are very old and really scarry. They can play with chinese war masks? Imagine that. Thx.

You can't compared this with Chthonic, because they both play way too different genres of Black Metal. Aside from having a very clear influence of Melodic Death Metal, Chthonic has a way more Symphonic side to their music that adds a very Gothic element to it. While Evilthorn sounds like pure Black Metal greatness to me.
