Yes but those suicides were all because I failed to get a particular item and need to die to restart at the previous checkpoint and try to get it again, therefore they are in fact mistakes as the death is the indirectly caused by a mistake I made.

No, I accidently took a shortcut that would take me past a medal so I tried to get on to the right path but didn't make the jump.

Some of them were by accident and I ONLY KILLED MYSELF ON PURPOSE WHEN I MISSED A COLLECTABLE SUCH AS A MEDAL OR VIDEOTAPE! This is footage from my walkthrough, in which I am showing how to get EVERY collectable. So if I missed one, then I would kill myself so I could get another chance to get it. Like the deaths from 1:01 to 1:20 were all because I kept failing to get a videotape that you only have one shot at getting.

A few of them were intentional due to the fact that I am collecting every medal, videotape, record, and art book in this playthrough and I missed some so I killed myself to get a video tape, however most of them were not intentional.

During the playthrough, I collect every collectable in a stage (and I plan to go back since I'm sure I missed something) so some of the deaths were intentional suicides because I missed a video tape (the part where I kept stomping during the gap)
