for $300 dollers you might find gold but to be honest you really need a dedicated gold machine or a least a machine that operates at a higher frequncey then coin hunting machines(6 Khz) and something with a manual ground balance as well. If your going to do it then do it right and be successful
I got a bounty hunter pioneer ex for xmas in your opinion is this a ok beginner detector?the draw back I found so far is there isnt a headphone plug =[ so i cant ingore curious on lookers with questions.
Thanks for the information. I'm going to get into this soon. I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where a lot of activities go on along the beaches. The Florida Air and Sea Show I hear is returning and they brought crowds up to a million people on the beach. That would be a great spot to try.
Hi, are there any name brands which you recommend for a novice for under $100. You didn't mention any in the vid, and I'm totally unfamiliar with name brands. Thx
CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A "TESORO" SILVER UMAX. IT'S MADE OF QUALITY COMPONENTS IN THE U.S.A., SIMPLE TO USE "AUDIBLE" SIGNALING MACHINE WITH DISCRIMINATION, AND WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY.
I've got a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw 2 and it finds coins like no ones business , I am going to get a Tesoro Compadre soon those are good machines too . Get yourself a good pinpointer too.
Hi there, This may be a silly question as I'm just getting curious about metal detecting. I'm looking for a metal detecter... something simple... just a hobby to get me out in the fresh air really. I'm opting for the Garreth 150. Is this a good choice and if so will it detect gold, silver, platinum, palladium copper ect. Thanks for the video
What would be a good one for the price range of $300-$400 USED?
2 years ago, my parents bought me one for Christmas for $90 at Bass Pro Shops...when i took it out of the box to test it, apparently, it could detect invisible coins floating in the air...it has been collecting dust in the attic since!

Garrett Ace 250 (or 150 if you wish to spend a little less) is the best choice as far as I'm concerned
