you do have to pay for the game. it costs $10 for the base game with the first level and all the free content, which now includes a few characters and another level, and it costs $6 per extra level and $1 per extra character.

This game only has a physical version in the UK. In the US you have to buy it from the PS store. Once you have spent the $10 to buy the base game, you can buy the extra environments for $6 each, the extra characters for $1 each (although some are free), and the celebrity characters for $2 each. If you don't want to buy everything (which would cost about the same as a retail game) you should watch some youtube videos to see which environments and characters you want.

The replays only go up to 4 minutes so its difficult to get really high scores posted. I have 3 new videos of 30m point runs with Smooth Jarvis.
