  • I got mine a couple of Years ago for lousy 200$ brand new...for the price a fantastic deal. The Hardware itself is cheap but the Sound makes up for it. The only Hardware Synths i own are Yamaha's ( AN200,DX200,EX-5,TG-500 ) so I figured I would try a Roland - the Filters arent bad on this one and you can program easy Trance/Techno/DnB Patches. The Drumsection is Roland typical good...with a Midi Keyboard hooked up on it you got a decent VA here...

  • Ответьте на главный вопрос: на нём наруливается дабстеп или нет? :)

  • Does it work with a midi controller?

  • Excellent

  • try ingie bingie using the sh-32. with guitar click on fullmoonguitar2.

  • наверное, самый нормальный обзор этой игрушки, спасибо.

  • @vr13azvedke Пожалуйста )

  • I just saw a picture of this on vintage synth and I imagined it to be much smaller.

  • i dig your wood sides you have on it. doing the same with mine this summer.

  • а почему лампочки синие? У меня все красные

  • get a midi controler

  • i can buy this new for 299 euros (414 dollras), i think i will go for it! it seems as a pretty cool and powerdul synth

  • Best SH-32 demo on Youtube !! What is the tune your playing at 1:45 ?

  • Roland sh-32 mint condition with original box/manuals on los angeles craigslist

    right now

  • @theinvis3 How much was it going for?

  • o god, this would be awesome with an 88 key controller

  • @Synthesized13

    indeed

  • who made the wood sides and blue lights?

  • @FX23 I second this!

  • I have some questions on the sh-32

Can you sequence other equipement from it's midi out?

I read it got 4 timbres... Is it possible to have an internal bassline going on one timbre, and have the a melody going throught the midi out on another timbre?

It has chord memory, Does that only work internal aswell? Or can it send poyphonic chords through midi out?

  • @Oatmeal1300

    Yes

    No

    Yes

  • This is the main instrument for my recordings, first synth I bought and still my favorite. Yours has the blue led's and wood panels, mine does not look anywhere near as beautiful. Thanks for posting this video.

  • You are getting some very nice sounds out of that box! Ohhh I see one on Craiglist that is tempting me very much but he is a little high on his asking price.

  • Good !!!

  • Ok at least someone that have record direct into computer, i just bought one because i had the chance to get one for 190$ can. After checking your video i wanted that beast. Thanks, i will have my video soon of my cover of Jean-Michel Jarre Oxygene 4 100% SH-32 be tuned.

  • Well I just got SH-32, the only one I could find. They are getting noticed more, becoming rarer to find, and prices are increasing too!

SH-32 is more complicated than MicroKorg, but more direct, more fun for grooves, more interesting features, and more power. But the arpeggio is quite complicated and you definitely need to read the manual! SH-32 is like a lower cost alternative to the DSI Evolver.. They are both very versatile in sound, beyond typical analog sounds, and fun to use!

  • SH 32 or JP8080 or MS2000.. im wondering which is the groovier of these??

  • How much would you say one of these are worth, after watching this I'm gonna try and get hold of one if it's within reasonable price. thanks ;) nice video

  • @kingofkeyboards

I bought recently for about equal to $310 US in ok condition, but I just bought another for about $240 in very good condition, so im going to return the first one and keep the cheaper and better one..

  • ah thanks ;)

  • I'm really liking these patches... nice work!

  • Beautiful SH! I wish mine had wood side panels and blue LED's. One of my favorite little synths.

  • or was it 'in cunabula '?

  • yeah right at 0:37 ....from the lp 'amber '

  • 0:37 for 5 seconds it sounded like Autechre :)

  • really the mods on that thing are great (wood + blue leds)

  • Awesome Panels and LED's...

    ROLAND would be proud.

The SH-32 is a very underrated synth, I blew a pair of monitors with it.

    Cheers,

    RRKS

  • Hello, I've posted this video on switchedonsynthesizer.blogspot. com

  • Do you know how to check the current O.S ?

Mine won't do program changes, it just shows up as blank dashes when I want to change the patch with a program change message?

    any ideas?

Also I want to do a bulk dump of my patches, but don't think ableton supports that, I tryed to do it with midiox app , but no joy...any help..thanks

  • does is send its arpeggiator info through MIDI?

  • Nice wooden sides + what blue leds did you use and were they hard to fit ?

Looks sexy with the blue :)

How you finding it for nuskool like bass lines, ya know wobbly dirt and stuff ?

    Nice vid thanks

  • Great synth! I bought it as my first non software synth with zero regrets! Creates a ton of awesome sounds. I think im going to create one of these videos as well with my own patches. Cheers!

  • sick box really, it's hard to get one of these, good thing they're not too expensive though.

  • just noticed you put woodedn cheeks on your's, adds to the class of it,

  • those are cool, but i kinda like the minimalistic plain old industrial synthbox look too. This thing has strange design, it reminds me of an old computer from the 80's.

  • For the such a small module the SH32 can create some wonderful sounds, close to the JD800 and JP8000, Im glad to own one.
