@InferSader quite correct, that's why the office had to be rewritten and adjusted for the american public. Nevertheless it is my opinion that as soon as one becomes acquainted with english humour (i'm greek by the way), its superiority becomes unquestionable - it really grows in you. Don't get me wrong, there are some brilliant american comedies and comedians out there - its just that english humour is a bit deeper, more ironic and psychological. Not only it makes you laugh, it makes you think.

The office UK is not a LMAO kind of sitcom and it's not supposed to be. On the other hand it's written and performed with a lot more feel than the american version. The office uk is funny because you can picture your self in the situations that arises, and feel what the characters are feeling. The office US is just to crazy to be believable. That's why i don't like it. I don't feel anything for the characters in that show. There are way better american sitcoms than that one.
