Dave explained it as "In the end of the day I should have known, that this would happen" lol and taking those words into perspective of him talking about Kurt would be pretty disrespectful of Dave.

If you know a little bit the origin of the name Foo Fighter you will understand. This band is clearly a foo fighter: a luminescent sphere that followed airplanes during WWII. A really rare phenomenon that has still no explanations about it.

As today, in our world with crappy music, few bands still manage to get out of this shithole and give us light. If you compare the music nowadays as the war (bad thing happening) you can easily compare this band to a foo fighter: a luminescent ball of hope
