  • Rainbow is nothing comparing to Kirby. I used to sell Kirby to customers they already owned Rainbow and they loved Kirby more than Rainbow when they saw the big deferent between them if you clean one spot 20 - 60 times by Rainbow then 1 - 3 times by Kirby

  • I'm very intrigued with these and they seem very cool. The main reason I didn't buy one is because of the potential moisture output from it, and its a lot more inconvenient than my Oreck XL Platinum Plus because I vacuum 2-3x a day, and even more with a Hoover Linx cordless cyclonic vacuum because of my allergies and my stupidity to keeping my cats and dog.

  • MY mother in law sold this crap. The thing is clunky and heavy. Who wants to drag that thing around while vacuuming and especially if you have a 2 story house and by the time you get done vacuuming the carpet looks like someone walked all over it from the stupid canister rolling all over where you just vacuumed. Oh and who wants to empty out that sludge bucket after everytime they get finished vacuuming. i can only say one good thing about this vacuum and that it has decent suction.

  • NOT WORTH THE MONEY, but Kudos to anyone ho can afford to pay so much for a vacum cleaner, it is because of those rich people that buy them that the damn thing is so much

  • People wouldn't spend $3,000 on a vacuum that could actually do good but would spend $3,000 on a T.V that does absolutely nothing. I don't get it. If you don't like it don't comment. Go watch T.V and and get fat!

  • what is the model of this rainbow vacuum? It was not in your description.

  • We have one for 12 years ,we like it ,It is the best appliances in the world !!!!! Nothing can compare with this vacuum

  • FACTS ARE FACTS. Fact one, Rainbow is the best, bar none. Fact two, the price is a total 100% scam. It is truly sad such a wonderful product has to be associated with such predatory marking people. Anyone know if the patent on this or anything will ever expire where we can get it from an alternative manufacturer?

  • I want a HUGE fully AUTO tank flush, Automatic Central VAC Rainbow! Hook it to the sewer system , auto flush. Just imagine this in a Central VAC?? oh yeah....

  • i used to sell kirby then sold rainbow then electrolux all in all rainbow still is tha bomb. its not very hard to dump the dirty water down the toilet then try to take a full smelly dust bag out or the other so called bagless dust blowers they still are a mess to clean try not 2 sneeze i love this new 1 i have the e2 2008 blue 1 still works a 1 all the people whining bout the price its not set by rexair its set by each local dealer who double or some cases triple the price on everthing!!!!!!

  • the rotho tt is better

  • @ vacguy77 OMG the tank lights up!!! How cool is THAT???!!!

  • Hands down the BEST vacuum on Earth. My parents owned one in the 80's. We were using it until 2006 when I moved and decided to leave it behind (basically threw it away). Big mistake. Even though it was over 20 years old, any other vacuum I bought past 2007 did not even come close to the performance of the older rainbow.

Yes, they are expensive, which is why I will never buy a new one, but you'd be surprised how many used ones are out there on CL ;)

  • I want one!! Lol. I just bought an older one that I'm very happy with, it's an e series. Still works GREAT! Not sure how old it is but it out performs the $175 Bissell I bought last year, and the one I bought the year before that! In fact it out does my sister's very pricey vac! I'm just waiting on one part to come in the mail then I can shampoo my carpets with my Rainbow! Awesome vac! Worth every single cent!

  • what is it's full model name? Cause i want to bye the latest model

  • Nice machine, but I have one question: does it have a filter in it, because I know water alone can't trap all the dirt unless it's wet cleaning.

  • @maryoassyrian2007 Water is 100% filtration, it has certs from the allergy and asthma foundation of america....

  • @Lesliesakowsky Oh, ok.

  • I had a Rainbow for about a year and I have to say it was the most gross, pain in the butt machine I've ever used. I don't want to have to scrub my vacuum after I vacuum. I just want to vacuum my home and put my vacuum in the closet and forget about it until the next time. Rainbows are way too much work to deal with and I hate to think people are paying big bucks to give themselves a huge messy job every single time they vacuum. On the plus side, you did a good job on the video.

  • Why didn't anyone mention that its a Air purifier/Vacuum/Humidifier/and odor control machine this thing is the shit.

  • I personally like to see the dirt in the water after vacuuming the carpet. If you could, will you tell or show me how dirty the water is?

  • Its a rip off, explore what is avaiable in the market before you make a decission. Even the dog in the Video seems to think is expensive and starts barking!!!

  • I love my Rainbow!!! I have the e-series and have had it for 6 years. I will never own another vacuum!! Unless it is a rainbow!! I can not wait to get the new one!!!

  • I think we can all agree that the Rainbow is overpriced...........But that being said......Rexair makes a great product and puts a lot of technology and thought into it. Unfortunately the "WAY" it's sold causes the price to skyrocket! But it's a fantastic machine and it does work GREAT! I've had my Gold Speed over five years. The Hepa is still clean on mine on both sides so the water is doing something.....I have had zero problems with it but I take care of my stuff.

  • Let me tell you, these guys will say ANYTHING to sell you a $2500 vacuum. After seeing what customers spend on this machine, including repairs I wouldn't own one for $300. I use a National (Japanese brand,Matsushita Elec.) I bought 10 years ago that NEVER breaks down. It's MUCH easier to use, no emptying water everytime, MUCH quieter than the Rexair, cleans AS GOOD and paid less than $200. And NO, the bags never cost $1000's like the BS salesman says it does.

  • Would you pay $2500 for that? Are you kidding me? I wouldn't buy one at gun point. I used to know so many people with these machines and the motor starts to freeze because of the moisture from the water penetrates thru the duct system and wind up spending HUNDREDS of $ on TOP of their insane price to begin with. So, were now talking about $3000 for this plastic garbage. If you finance it, you're talking $4000 now. The only ones getting rich in Rainbow is the CEO and his 'clicks' in Troy.

  • @BsNoMo No one is forcing you to buy a Rainbow. If the machine is taken care of, then what you're talking about doesn't happen. The people you know obviously didn't listen to the salesman when they purchased their machine and were explained to how to care for it. AND.. it is next to impossible to "seize" up a motor on a new Rainbow. So go ahead and keep using your Bissell you picked up at Wal-Mart and leave the Rainbows to those of us who know how to care for such a nice machine!

  • @vacguy77 Nice machine, but why too expensive.

  • @vacguy77 my parents had a Rainbow that lasted for 20 years no problems. Beat that with a stick.

  • @BsNoMo They dont "freeze" up. They have had Bypass motors for almost 30 years. People forget to clean the separators and or let them SIT with water for long periods of time.

It is the ONLY vacuum you will ever need.. Nice try guy, from a NON owner, you really speaking from experience... YOU can breathe in your own dead skin and dust mites!

  • My family has a Rainbow SE from the mid-90s, so naturally I wonder -- what's the purpose of low speed?

  • @MicrosoftWindowsGuy its quiet and you can put it on all night in an asthmatics room :)

  • @MicrosoftWindowsGuy We have a new Rainbow that we got a month ago.The low speed is also for "purifying" the air.

  • Rainbow is the best system of it's kind in the world, that i know of. I use to sell them back in 88 and just about everyone I demonstrated this fine machine to, bought it.

I appreciate you sharing a little bit of the Rainbow, but folks, this 7 minute video did not come close to sharing all of what this machine can do. If I didn't know any better, I would not buy this machine based upon what I saw alone. You have to see a complete demo to see the benefits!!

  • @PaulCarterJr I didn't make this video with a purpose to try and "sell" a machine. I made this video because I collect vacuum cleaners.. new and old, and Rainbows happen to be one of my favorite. Several of my friends who were not close enough to come and see it in person were curious about it, so I made the video.

  • Rainbow is the best any one who thinks otherwise has no brain at all!!

  • Rainbow Australia are a bunch of rogues and liars. They deceive their clients with the credit they offer and are rude as hell!!!

  • Why is there always a dog in vacume videos?

  • cooool

  • so awesome! i love these!

  • alternate vacuums don't clean, they leave everything behind as soon as their filters clog up and the air stops flowing in. As well, the filters are full of holes and blow the fine particles ( remember dust mites?) out through them so you end up breathing them in. Only the Rainbow picks up and holds 99.997% of the dirt 100% of the time

  • there are enough impurities in the world to keep the immune system strong. and your body ios constantly attacked out there. if your home is free of these irritants, you can at least give your body 8 hours to repair itself for the next day's attack outside your home.

  • I think Daniel Jackson and Samantha Carter would not like to find themselves inside your minature star gate posing as a vacuum cleaner.

  • Pro Aqua is junk

  • PRO AQUA WHO HAS 6 SPEED PRO AQUA IS MORE BEAUTIFUL

  • How much suction is there in low speed? Is low speed just for air purification/deodorization? Does the power nozzle actually turn on when you pull the trigger while it's in low speed mode?

  • I have an old rainbow I bought in 1996, I love it. Had to send it in one time and it was fixed for free all I had to pay was shipping back to me. I paid 1500.00 for it back then and I would do it again, well worth the money. I really like how it works as a deodorizer for my house too. I am still using it today.

  • Have you had any trouble attaching the Aqua Mate to your new Rainbow. I purchased this Rainbow as well in June, but the Aqua Mate for the E2 does not work. The model on my Rainbow says E2. Any suggestions?????

  • Comment removed

  • dose it still have a quick draw cord hook

  • It has a nice new look! That new power nozzle looks really interesting too. The only negative thing i see about it is the sound of the motor.

  • 1 person cant afford a rainbow vacuum

  • Personally I have a Miele van which I love but I do know the Rainbow is one of the best and unique vacuums as well. It's just way too loud though.

  • Cool vacuum

  • I need a glowing water basin now!

  • wow it looks great, fantastic. Bravo.

  • if you wanna weaken your immune system by removing every single dust particle in your home, be my guest. This shit should only be used by desperate people with serious health issues like asthma. Not for regular healthy people..

  • @ono48 if that's your thought then why would you even watch this imean seriously theres like thousands, millions of videos on youtube and of all you choose this just so you can talk down about it.

  • The Rainbow Vacuum System is so fun and easy to use. Simply connect the nozzle to the main assembly. Then locate the easy two-finger clip. Insert one end of the hose to the coupling at the base of the unit and using slight pressure give the hose a 1/4 twist until you hear it click into place. Then make sure you connect the power chord to the neck of the nozzle-unit making sure that the fit is tight and snug. Next, you'll want to check the trigger to ensure that it is in functioning order...

  • If I could convince everyone with new carpet to get a Rainbow vacuum cleaner, the carpet manufacturers would hate me, as carpet sales would be greatly reduced....Lol!

  • Please post an up-date soon as to your current feelings about this latest model.

  • A tip to better cleaning....at least once a month, remove the HEPA filter and then vacuum your entire home....it improves the air-flow which means increased cleaning power! Remember, we have cleaned for years using only the water in a Rainbow....to do this one out of 4 times a month will be just fine....Hope this helps!

  • I'm going to get a refurbished demo of this new model along with the Rainjet attachment and Aqua-Mate carpet shampooer, just as soon as one becomes available. Fortunately, my friend is a distributor!:)

  • I've always filled mine to JUST ABOVE the peg in the center as instructed to do so....never any problems. I do not bother with the low power setting, so the gurgle sound is not an issue for me.

  • AWESOME!!!! What a fantastic job they did with this....LOVE THE RAIN-JET!!!! LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS NEW MODEL!!!! Think I will go back to selling them part-time again!

  • Love the new look on all of the packaging. i.e. boxes, unit, bottles....EVERYTHING! GREAT IDEA WITH THE RAINJET AS WELL!!!!

  • never ever fill over the top of that center post. if you do you will cause the system to blow water out the exaust.

  • Uses water as primary filter for dirt. Other than that a relatively ordinary vacuum cleaner with an extraordinarily high price.

Just think for $1800 you could hire a maid to clean your home for several years. Perhaps you can find a maid that brings her own Rainbow if you're impressed with them...

    Alternative vacuums for $200-$400:

  • @ono48 Jerk!

  • @bigv3999 jerk me off with your rainbow. i know it sucks pretty good.

  • How is this model called?

  • Neat video but you have WAYYYYYYY too much water in there. Too much water leads to you having to clean the seperator all the time. You usually want to stop filling just before the top of the bubble. You shouldn't be able to here it gurgling on low speed. :-)

  • @gaylover211

But isn't that the whole purpose of the dome in the middle? you fill it right to the top of the dome?

  • @mark40511

I thought so too but when I had to take it in because my hepa was getting too dirty too early, they told me to put less water.

  • @gaylover211

Wow! Really? How much less? And if you're hepa got dirty, I guess that means that the dirt got inside the machine as well? Did they clean the inside for you?

  • Great video and thanks for sharing.

  • IM NEED THE RAINBOW, HOW MUCH?

  • i want this version . IT COMES WIT LIGHTS !!

  • someday I would love to own this model maybe when I finish college lol since they are like $2000

  • thats so great we have it at Saudiللطلب او الصيانه الرجاء الاتصال

to order it pls contact # 0551411348

  • Wow! Thanks for posting. Very Very cool. When you turn the unit on it sounds EXACTLY like my Gold two speed.

  • Suuper cleaning system !!! Can you show us the separator , please ! Thx

  • I love your Rainbow . Cute dog you got there.

  • Yikes! I just bought the E2 12 like two weeks ago! Would have been nice if the salesman told me a new model was coming out soon :(

  • when does this come out?

  • The headlight is something that which, until this power nozzle model was used, had not been realized since the time they used the Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team nozzle in 1974.
