They are probably one of the best live bands. A lot of bands sound awesome on their cd's but aren't nearly as good live, take ADTR for example. I love the band but jeremy is never nearly as good as the albums live. These guys are really good tho.

MAKE SURE to watch their old live video's though! their new screamer isn't that great and they only use auto-tune live for certain parts of certain songs.

i think both will use auto-tune again because that's their style and its what people expect but not nearly as much like in previous recordings.

As for this band they have one for each Screaming and Cleans. Although when i saw ADTR live he seemed fine jsut out of breath sometimes. but its so understandable.

I dont think the clean vocals are very good in this. but i still love em.

well i can understand you when you compare certain songs like "goats on a boat" and "danger: wildman", both are unarguably great songs, but obviously, goats on a boat is far more complex. i guess it all depends on the songs you compare, rather than the entire album. i guess i'm going to have to agree with you when you look at their complexity because i also play guitar and the songs from wraabb are much easier to learn. but complexity doesn't always mean quality

complexity doesn't always = quality .That's true but I think what sets TDWP apart from all the other metalcore bands IS their complexity.

They have amazing tempo changes, timing, complex riffs with really well timed screams.

I personally love the complexity of their first two albums...I find myself listening to the songs on repeat, and i 4 months later i still do. (haven't touched roots for awhile)

Their new style is more heavy and melodic.

It comes just comes down to preference.

firstly i'd like to thank you for referring to them as metalcore and not screamo haha. but part of the music is also the construction and meaning of the lyrics. and the new album has songs with lyrics that can be quite difficult to understand the meaning of to some. i haven't payed much attention to the lyrics of plagues for some reason. but i will listen to them and try to understand them. but what separates wraabb from plagues is the way that the lyrics connect with the music itself

I used to really like TDWP (I still do), but to be truthful, their latest album, "With Roots Above and Branches Below" kinda let me down. Plagues was much better in my opinion because the vocals were much more distinct and heavier. THis new album just sounds like any other metalcore band. BUT, I admit they got a SICK drummer.
