It's interesting to listen to this song when you only have a vague idea of what the Pikmin are, and you'd probably think they are wild, tribalistic creatures, but in the actual game they're actually pretty organized and able to accomplish amazing things thanks to Olimar's leadership. I wish there was a game that showed the Pikmin after Olimar had left the planet for the final time and the Pikmin used what they learned to opperate by themselves, but still act like wild creatures. Without dying.
