Is there any Iranian, or any other freedom seeker for that matter, living in Cairo, who can obtain a fatwa from a Mullah at Al Azhar indicating that the Iranian regime is an infidel, Anti-Islamic entity, a disgrace to all religions and mankind, based on its every single action in the past thirty years, and therefore has to be taken down, by force or any other possible means by all Moslems or any one who believes in humanity?

I agree that Sadat had a great vision for both Egypt and Sudan. Most Americans do not know that Sadat was not Egyptian by birth or(contentiously) heritage; By his own admission he was a born SUDANESE!!! This fact, and the knowledge that he was moving to stop the western-backed jihad before it truly got off the ground is the true reason that he was murderd! You say no? to say that shah was behind the tortures that took place during his time is a little extraneous. The shah had explicitly asked that torture (physical torture in particular) be discontinued, but there is a possibility that it was being done by those who detained the detainees without his knowledge.this can happen but he should have been on top of it I think.But its not fair to say that torture was an "accepted" practice during his reign,but something that was in fact occuring.

Having read up on Anwar Sadat's life, it was clear that he too had a great vision for his country as did the shah and did not want it to simply be another Arab nation or Muslim nation, but a independent peaceful nation. For these reasons alone, both the Shah and Anwar Sadat were demised by irrational, uneducated, unpeaceful Islamists! The Muslim world, which is still immersed in stupidity, has yet to understand the progressiveness and wisdom of these 2 leaders!! May God rest their souls!

The main features of the treaty were the mutual recognition of each country by the other, the cessation of the state of war, and the complete withdrawal by Israel of its armed forces and civilians from the rest of the Sinai Peninsula. Anwar Sadaat warned Ethiopia if it starts development project using Tana (one source of Nile) then it will use military action since his people depend on it. Then right after he invites Israel to have some of that water (to let it flow into israel /suez canal).
