I think a soulful female voice such as this here are much more suited to the song, and is more generally appealing as well as more akin to the style we traditionally see in good "Bond songs," than say that of Jack White.

Nice work! This proves my theory that this actually would have been a good Bond song if it had been Alicia Keys singing solo.  If she would have been free to take the song and make her own... with Keys vocal stylings it would have shined like this version.
