@tarth74 again the reason why it was not nominated was because other composers helped them create and piece together the score. This was Daft Punks first film score composition and I am pretty sure they could not do this on their own. If you listen closely, you can hear some of Hans Zimmers work in here as well as Henry Gregson Williams, both composers who helped them create the score as it was also mentioned in the ending credits of the movie.

While they may have heavily influenced the way daft punk wrote the score, daft punk wrote it and i can't find anything substantial that suggest Zimmer or Gregson-Williams were involved in any way.
