Swype is pretty good I use this now more than my physical keyboard. But I use my physical keyboard only for typing urls, username, and passwords now. Plus swype is pretty fun to use also haha

Download big buttons keyboard. That with swype makes texting incredibly easy. I thought everyone just did this with one hand. Holding our phone and using your thumb to swipe. Or am I the retard.

i used to use a physical keyboard on my phone. then i actually tried using the virtual keyboard, and i was slow as fuck. then, i stopped using it, and two days later, i tried again and i typed faster than on a computer keyboard.

Swype is great -- but the pace of this show has _much_ too much lead-in; I was watching this for the review itself, not the discussion of the AppJudgement application and such. Also, he's swyping *much* slower than you have to -- explicitly picking the words is silly when the default one in the selection box is what you meant, and you can just do your whole message and go back and get the selection boxes for anything it got wrong later.

If you use swype for a week, you can type almost as fast as you would on your pc. Once it understands how you type, it really starts working better.

Ron, you don't need to select the suggested word when it pops up. The one in bold will automatically paste, you can continue typing the next word as you go. That alone speeds up text input so you don't have to stop.

@overvision Now swype recognizes the names in your phonebook, and with android your phonebook can consist of all of your facebook friends. But if there are still even more unusual names, then, like everybody else said, you can tap it in.

@overvision Extremely fast. The longer the word, the narrower the results. Weird long strange names are stored as a suggestion for later. After that, they pop up when the first 2-3 letters are swyped. Could not be easier.
