The woods are known for kids partying in them, the pile of rocks are balast for the railroad, the smoke stack is NSP power plant, the brush is piled up by the railroad, nothing strange about that area at all. I've been there many times. the tracks see trains every day, and the smoke stack always has something coming out of it for it powers St. Paul.
