jimmy's voice just makes me smile. And then they hit the harmonies and i get butterflies in my stomach. They are so talented. Yeah, martina's version is one of the most powerful female vocals in country music, but this is a hell of a cover. The male lead and the acoustic sound makes the song sound like a totally different song. This was seriously one of my favorite nights in country music ever.

Actually Martina, the Everly Brothers originally performed this song written by Phil in 1960, of which, they are arguably one of the foundations of the country/rock genre. In my opinion.

Martina's version is without a doubt a country classic and will probably never be topped by anyone else...but...this version comes damn close! Jimi sings the heck out of this song and the other three members provide some of the most brilliant harmonies I've ever heard. Can I also add that this would have been the best performance of the night had Carrie Underwood not sang...but this was a close close second!

Martina choose LBT because she stated she loved their cover of Independence Day and the are good friends. I think all the SuperStar Womwn of Country that were honored for their record breaking achievement or wonderful social work w/ the community, deserve all the accolades. They're all special and great in their on right!

This is a really good cover, but Carrie Underwood took my breath away when she sang this cover on American Idol. I don't think anyone's cover could beat her cover, and Martina has the best version of this song, then Carrie Underwood, then Little Big Town. I saw them with Sugarland and they were amazing live, but Carrie Underwood is my favorite singer of all time. No one will take her place for me.

@sbreisch134 are you for real? Carrie's version sounds like a pale karaoke version of Martina's. LBT got their own version of the song and that's what make it so special. They change it and make it their own! Carrie's version can't hold a candle to neither one of them. BTW I'm not a hater. Carrie is a great singer and I actually like her version but more like a guilty pleasure and not cause I think it's a great cover of the song. Just my opinion.

@LeighBarrymore I love their version as well, and I am not a hater either, its just that as a group, yes they have the best version, but I think as one person just singing, Carrie Underwood is the best. I also think that the combined voice sounds a little weird when your only used to hearing one person singing it, but it is a good weird.

I don't think that there is a single song that they can't sing. Not many people can do a great singer like martina mcbride justice, but this was amazing

The country artists understand what music is all about. Not only do their songs have deep message behind it, they always know how to put on a good performance with their incredible voices. Little Big Town's cover of Martina's amazing hit is an excellent example.

I never usually like anyone other than Martina singing this song because no one can touch her power. But I have to say I really love Little Big Town and I though having the male sing lead gives the song such a different feel and different dynamic which I really LOVE! Best vocal group with the BEST female Country powerhouse= heaven!
