looks to me that this woman may have seen the camera and tried to unnoticabley cover her face and stopped to take a look. And back then people were a little diiferent in there mannarisms out in public, especially foreigners, which to me she kind of looks like a frumoy european lady (1920's people lets not forget) lots of changes after ww1. . . but i think if she were really talking on a phone, the guy she WAS walking considerably close to didn't look like he seen anything out of the ordinary

Its an Ice pack , and even if it were a cell phone they dint have towers back then for reception. so even if you took two phones back in time no towers for a signal. the most it could be is a walkie talkie, but I still cry ice pack lol.

Ok... So I watched SEVERAL of these videos at least a dozen times each. It looks like a cell phone. I have seen comments that say it is a hearing aid... But I looked up hearing aids of the period, and it doesn't look like a hearing aid. Not to mention that the hearing aids of this period were a box with a wire and some kind of pad thing on the end. The box went in your pocket and the pad went up to your ear... So where is the wire, and why do we see a box shape instead of the hearing pad?

At best I would say maybe holding a portable radio? The technology was there and the timing could have been about right considering radios were already in households by the early 20's.
