I just heard this song a few weeks ago.. im into Rap but ... damn these guys kick ass. so i tryed to make a hip hop beat At the Drive in Fans get at me!!! check out my Response Video
At The Drive In isn't emo, they're progressive hard core and the best band in the genre. Though I'll agree that they are better than the hardcore of this generation.
Inutero, we see that in the critical acclaim, yet poor sales of the Mars Volta records. I think ATDI's most melodic record, with the more "marketable" songs, was in/casino/out. That lends a sense of ownership to fans of that record. And yes, an arguably pompous sense that we love something that mainstream fans don't know about.
The Mars Volta records actually sell pretty well. over 500,000 deloused, like 400-425 frances, amputechture had around 100,000 last time i checked(years ago, back like a month after its release), and bedlam i have no idea.....but still they sell more then any death metal act that comes to mind..... But money is not whats important, neither is the mainstream. Its the music that matters most. I personally think that in/casino/out is atdi's best release in terms of songwriting.

Can i ask why you have the alien footage at the end?! lol

That was probably the most pretentious joke of all time, I apologize.

Yeah man, real fuckin nostalgic, I remember when I was soooooooo much into atd-i I cant explain... fuck
It was like a second "I" to me. Dont want to sound like a 08/15-Fanboy, but I think this is not avoidable :D
There are soooo many soooo different and so strange feelings I get when listening to them
Atop of that there is this ex-girlfriend topic
I dont know if I should fuck the world because of that
Or just give it my love because of these great feelings.
Uh whatever enjoy music Enjoy life
